That's the one

As silver linings go, this one is ok. I bought the 9.4 on eBay for $550 best offer, which means I am about $950 into this book (ugh) but just got it and I think it could press to a 9.8. Might as well go all in now

I’ve been waiting a long time to post here and now I can! I sent in a blue label 9.8 (1 of 8) to be signed by Jim Steranko. Risking a downgrade, I had my fingers crossed the whole time. Rich Henn cracked it, window bagged it and got it signed and graded for me. He handled my book with great care! Now I have the only 9.8 SS! As someone with mild OCD, I love that there are so many 2’s in this book. Marvel Super Special 22 signed on 2/22/20! Printed in ‘82!

From the very beginning, you facilitated my book from reception to signing to grading with utmost class and care! Even when there was a shipping mix-up, you were right on it to fix it. And because of you, I now have the only 9.8 SS Marvel Super Special 22. Signed by Steranko on 2/22/20 for my OCD friends

So The Silver Samurai debuted in July of 1974 in Daredevil 111. What is neat is that then in November of 1974, Daredevil 115 came out with the first ad page of Incredible Hulk 181. And in that very same ad page is the letters to the editor of people discussing how much they loved Daredevil 111. That same month, Incredible Hulk 181 came out. Fast forward 11 years later and X-Men 173 comes out with, arguably, one of the best fight scenes of Wolverine ever drawn. And who is he fighting? Yup, The Silver Samurai! I’ve got the slabs and pictures to prove it

Awesome! That is very cool!

it royally sucks. That book, in that grade with that single well placed signature was to complete my collection. I only have a small, well selected, collection of 16 slabs. I've no room (or funds) for any more. But now my chance of getting another 9.2 Wolverine 145 signed by Bill, at the price I paid, is super slim. I can't afford the $700 9.4 on ebay right now, paid half that for the 9.2. There are effectively only 7 other similar copies out there. Just feeling so low right now. Glad you all understand

Due to the corona virus my apartment complex (located in Rockville, MD) thought it was a good idea to start delivering packages right to our door so we won't have to go to the main office. well some individual_without_enough_empathy stole one of my packages from my front door while I was out. So if you see a Wolverine 145 Nabisco CGC 9.2 SS signed by Bill Sienkiewicz on 6/16/19 2502906001 for sale, it is stolen. I have filed a police report. please let me know if you see it. Thank you.

Sell it, get a 9.0 with perfect centering and alignment and pocket the difference is what I would do.

Here is my color guide. The “in your face hawk” part is a taped on stat. Colors looks like they were done in a nice marker. -

Seems like the Modern Age has been around for 30 years. Is there another age coming? Will it always be modern from here on? Thoughts?

Anyone have issue #17 graded? I’ve been wanting to see one in 9.8 for forever. It’s my favorite cover. I actually own the color guide to it 😁 -

1988 Amazing Spider-Man 300 CGC 9.8 white!! CLOSED

Hello, I am selling my ASM 300 CGC 9.8 white pages! SOLD The centering is near perfect, the print on the red “300”’s is rich and excellent (sometimes the red 300’s have a rough faded look). The right edge of the book is straight and clean (some books had a printing error where the right edge of the cover would be jagged). There are no color breaking stress marks either. Why this is not a 9.9, I have no idea. Take a look! I will have a scan of the back tomorrow. Paypal preferred. USPS priority shipping, fully insured. First *takeit wins. No refunds. -
Ok, I super don’t want this to go to eBay. Last reduction in price

Last price reduction before it goes to eBay

Very cool case. Where can I find something like that?
