  1. The emailed Instructions LITERALLY FROM CGC..! You're Welcome..! STAY VIGILANT..!!!
  2. PLEASE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS PEOPLE..!!! I made a post about how CGC is doing business like it is 1920..!!! I TOTALLY AGREE..!! Sending Billing/Shipping info via email in the 21ST CENTURY is INSANE..!!! I am finding that CGC is VERY disorganized internally with how they handle business in General... As a matter of Fact I am typing an email up right now to them about Several Orders sent in and how they are trying to jam me for shipping on every single line item even though its 3 total submissions... For instance one submission was for 3 small Prints, 1 Medium Print, & 1 SS Comicbook... CGC took that ONE SUBMISSION and broke it into 3 separate orders/line items and is hitting me for shipping costs on all 3 as if they are were all submitted separately... In other words CGC is defiantly using deceptive billing tactics for sure... I have the emails and invoices to prove it hence the email I am in the midst of typing... The amount in shipping costs on the split orders is over $100 alone; considering I am also in FL; at this point it is cheaper for me to drive 400 miles round trip and pick them up myself as gas in my Toyota will cost me $40... Also CGC keeps your Card Information on file ie Datamining/hording billing info... They do this so that they can just Bill you how they want which in my opinion is also theft and deceptive billing tactic... No modern company today operates like this most business offer a streamlined checkout shopping cart type system or in the least a checkout invoice system in place... In other words most modern companies today do NOT hold billing information unless a user selects too and even then a user can go onto their online profile and make changes or delete the information entirely... CGC website does NOT do this and CGC is actually hording billing info... I have expressed this to the highest levels as well as a Security Risk and Patel (Director of Operations) has yet to respond to any of these concerns..!! BTW there are all Direct Artist Submission... Not only that CGC Customer Service is all over the place with misinformation on how this Process is even supposed to go... I have used CBCS in the past for direct artist submission and CBCS website and online dashboard and user interface is 1000x better than the 20 year old CGC site here... Basically CGC still works like its 1998 website and they handle internal workings by Carbon Paper Forms still..!!! I have several orders in there right now and I keep getting mixed answers from CGC about how this "Direct Artist" Submission process is to be... Brittney emailed from the SS department about a "Signature Series Form" I am supposed to fill out to go along with the "Artist Submission" form... (So 2 forms..? Still Confused..!) Talking with another rep later on the phone disputing that this is not how the process was first explained to me at all and that this form is new to me and I was not told about it prior... She goes on to tell me that the form they want me to fill out and send to the artist along with the books or whatever is a form that is NOT downloadable from the website and it is NOT available to us regular joe clients as the SS form they are demanding to be filled out that I can not get (VERY CRAZY!) is actually for Shows/Cons and Facilitators Only... I keep YELLING the same thing to CGC and feel like I am falling on deaf ears; but now that someone else out there is asking the same things as to why a self-proclaimed billion dollar industry leader is still asking for billing info by regular emails (HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL & UNSECURED!!!) is a JOKE in the year 2020..!!! I tell them I can order a Pizza and know more about whats going on with the process and paying for it; than I can with Highly valuable collectibles submitted to CGC... STAY VIGILANT..!!!
  3. I just paid almost $200 for the Sam/Bagley signing; bottom line is, CGC is going to do whatever THEY want..!!! UNLESS WE START FIGHTING BACK ALREADY..!!! The whole "Window Bag" is BS; at the end of all the fine print they say you get what you get and tuff luck to you bye...! To sum it up; I know because as a 1st time submitting for one of their in-house signings I wasted my time Cutting a bag up to have Sam sign and Sketch up top and Bags sign on the bottom.... The Note on the back and the note on the actual order said Sam on top and Bags on bottom... Ive seen a few other photos of books done during that signing and it looks like EVERYONE got the same layout..! So do not hold your breath and do not expect to get what you asked for either... And surely do not expect to get anywhere if you have a problem the only person who works at CGC is some old lady Named Melissa whos hearing aid is turned all the way up and she thinks everyone is always yelling at her... I dont know; but my First time experiences with both CGC & CBCS so far have hands down SUCKED..!!! Its the 21st Century and both these companies still do not run a business with a good user interface..! They are asking me to confirm a billing charge to a card that I have on file with them..? Where do I see that Information at..? Oh thats right this website is from 1999 and doesnt have any of the 21st Century website tech that even 3rd World Africa has better websites to do business on than this..! CGC is doing business like its 1950 still with paper forms and invoices and this whole one person send an emaiil that they got the item and then someone else to confirm billing and then you have to call a # where one guy answers the phone and hes out to lunch most the day... Its like how do we the USERS have NO ACCESS to OUR OWN (Billing & Shipping) DATA..? CGC does not care; I suggest EVERYONE file a Federal Complaint against CGC for not following Federal Shipping Laws & Not being ADA compliant... Im filing mine right now; because I called 2-weeks ago to file a complaint and no one has gotten back to me at all yet..! Im not dealing with back and forth emails and defunct user interface and ancient billing system in the 21st Century..!!!
  4. Currently we're creating/running exclusive Time-Lapse Videos of Artists we directly deal with on a regular basis of them doing live draws of pieces we own... Our Channel currently has over 20 commissioned art pieces out with artists right now; over a dozen of them are set to be slabbed... Future videos will have unboxings, interviews, reviews etc of Indie Comics coming to market and other artist and what they are doing in the mix of the rising online culture...
  5. Because CGC owns the URL and Hosts the Forums... LoL Almost all major brand companies have Board Ambassadors or Official employees that respond in Brand/Company owned forums... But my bad like I said they have a website from when the Internet was built on just HTML before Flash media was even being used and this Company again prides itself on Grading 10s of Thousands of Coins and Comics each years but still has an antiquated website going into 2021 in the 21 Century..?! Come on man get off their Johnson and grow some of your own already; or take some viagra and stand for something bruh... To settle for CS, Old Fashioned Methods (ie paper forms & lacking website) and lack of updating their own website to reflect current products and services and same with their service reps its no wonder they've gotten away with this for so long... These companies are playing comic nerds as push overs; and I aint neither; these companies need to step up into the 21st century; period.
  6. I frankly find no value in CGC grading standards that is for sure; and there is plenty of review videos of people sending in books that should grade at a 7 are getting 9.2s from CGC... So their "reputation" on what they've built is inflated #s in grading... The CGC case is not better than the Competition and their other casing issues... Witnessed Signings are almost always done by a 4th party "facilitator" and yes we all know its based on "the trust" system... So again; I have Videos of my items being made and I have messages and COA's all the same things that CGC does minus the vacuum sealed inner and hard shell case.... To me there is no value other than having items encapsulated; I dont care what CGC says they think is a 9.8 Certified Witness Yellow label gimmick; I know my pieces are real and what they are... Its no different than if CGC (3rd Party) or their Facilitator (4th Party) sees the piece being made... Again with the shift from in person Cons to online cons and the times changing; somethings are going to have to give here in the near future... No one is saying that CGC has to change their "witnessed" signing model (I personally dont like all the added 4th party facilitator fees) at all; what I think a lot of people feel should be added is them actually doing something to acknowledge authentic/real signed, sketched, remarked, or art pieces as what they really are... I dont care about their BS yellow label at all really... I dont think people should be deprived authenticity simply because CGC or one of their facilitator minions palms arent getting greased in the process... I get the whole witnessed BS; but I aint having my Original Pages of Deceased artists with some label on it that doesnt reflect it for what it REALLY is... Which comes back to what sizes and cases for the 21st Century are really available.... And the reality is if none of us demand a better experience for OUR Collectibles; these people as they are will remain complacent... As a consumer; I dont think its too much to ask of a company that prides itself on grading 10s of thousands of books a year not to already step up to the plate to modernize their experience... I dont think its too much to ask to have a website with up to date information and CS reps with same... You can know more about the status of your Pizza and interact with its being made process today more than you can manage your comic orders online..? Thats sad...
  7. I agree too; more so the fact that I have Videos of the artists live-streaming one of a kind pieces and CGC wont grade them as authentic... Considering the whole This Century - That Century jive... Which brings the full circle point of; why dont they authenticate previously signed or one of a kind pieces which have verified proof of being made by said artist..? ie sketch covers and original art pieces... Also the fact of now deceased artists signed pieces; which is something Beckett has been doing for at least 30+ years now... So I cant see or understand why in this whole 21st Century, that verification of signatures isnt in a compiled database somewhere by now.... There is plenty of items out here with CoA's directly from the Artists or from some sort of sales campaign; comics and other memorabilia is out here wanting encapsulation services & authentication services offered by both... We can pick a part the pluses & minuses of each; both need better CS support and website progression and product knowledge and availability... Call me a newb; but how do I know about Graded Art and find 13x19 graded items for sale..? And CGC CS knows nothing about it..? If we come to the forums for answers and no one from CGC officially even follows up on these threads; that just proves my point of them lacking customer interaction in the "21st Century"....
  8. TTony - I recently got back into comics after not collecting for 30 years... Honestly I feel the SAME WAY about "Facilitators" handling my Comics to get them to CGC... Maybe its a sin to mention it; but CBCS will grade, authenticate, & slab previously signed Books... HOWEVER; as a Noob to both services, CBCS messed up Both my Orders (3-books) that were Direct Artist Mail-ins... CBCS uses some poor overseas girl for their CS Phone services and all she can do is email someone and sometime later someone will get back to you.... But if you have "ISSUES" it seems you have no control to do anything in the "Dashboard" Online (CGC Website/dashboard useless too) to make simple changes like one of the errors on intake that CBCS made was setting the book for "Pick-up" from Texas -which is Impossible for me to get-; but is something the USER could have fixed in the Dashboard.... Bottom line is, it is THE 21 CENTURY and both these companies lack significantly tech wise on their websites for their ordering systems.... I know people are optimistic about Cons coming back; but frankly the On-Line comic experience during this time has been phenomenal..!!! Its now easier to keep up will artists from all over the world and interact with them and buy art or commissions directly from the artist without paying heavy show entrance fees and fight crowds and lines... And Facilitator "Fees" eak the hell out of me..! Moving forward into 2021 I think CGC is going to have to make some serious moves to offer competing services (ie authenticate signatures already) and improve user online experience on their site... In other words if Beckett can tighten up CBCS; and CGC dosent progress into the 21st Century already they will get left behind... I like the CBCS cases over the CGC cases; but Customer Service from CBCS is junk compared to CGC... Product Knowledge is lacking in the CS department at CGC as well; but at least they try & do get back to you in a timely manner... Considering the times; and the point these companies are (financially) at; their online systems for customers is sub-par, and its kind of pathetic that as customers we still have to deal with a basic website system design from 1995 era...
