Was at a local flea market today and decided to buy this for $20.

Ebay win from Dec 24th which just arrived yesterday. I even left the selller positive fedback because I figured the weather must have slowed things down and I was really happy to get it.

First Ebay Purchases of 2011

Yes. I've had a copy of the whole series for a couple years. A friend gave them to me for Christmas around 2006. But I've always wanted the purple copy of number to finish the set. DC's original Sandman character ( the one this one is based one) was a Gold Age Character. I paid $26 which included the shipping.

Just got in mail today from ebay. I always wanted this cover. I think I might have paid to much but, I'm glad I got it.

Got this from CLink. I plan to upgrade to a 9.2 copy in 2011 so I can make this one my reader.

I was looking for Sandman books and found this. It doesn't fit in with the set but I still like it. It has a 5 page Sandman story.

I just deleted a bunch of sets from the registry. I got to thinking that I may never add anything more to them. I only kept the ones that I plan on building up or even completing in the future. My score took a hugh hit. I drop from around 260 to 432. Did I do the right thing? I think so, it makes looking at may sets a little easier and might give me a little more focus. I got this from mschmidt for $40 And he gave me this for helping him find Sandman 18 Thanks Michael.

Got two new ones today. I recently pointed out a web site that had a issue mschmidt was looking for and he rewarded me with Sandman #20 signed and sketched by Colleen Doran. I got to say that I think that I got the better comic. THanks. Michael. I also purchased from him, Sandman: Endless Nights Special for $40. I love any Sandman book in 9.8 but this one really looks great. I'll won't be buying to much more this year because Christmas is coming and I got to buy gifts. I might add 2 or 3 more to the collection. We will see how the bidding goes. Thanks again to mschmidt (Michael) for the incredible freebee. Gary. I've decided to start working on this set. It's been awhile since the last time I wrote. I've decided to start buying some of the Sandman comics that I'm missing. I would like to get all the Vertigo issues (47-75) in 9.8. I got a good start, as I've just recently added 47 and 75 to the set, and both are from the Golden State collection. Thanks to World Wide comics for a good deal on those two issues. I also plan on adding earlier issues but, because they are harder to find and more expensive it will be awhile before I try for them.
