Meant key comments which I’m guessing are the same as label notes, so “1st appearance” and such, my mistake, I’m new to this

Paid for pressing and grading, should have sent to a 3rd party for pressing and then sent to cgc. Received my 2 comics MODERN tier on 9/10 and haven’t updated since. Don’t expect to get my books back till February ‘21 at this rate

Yeah I have seen a few with it and a few without it, I don’t think I’ve seen any notes on issues #3 or 6 which is first whisper gang, first court cameo and then first full court cameo

Hope everyone’s doing well! I have recently acquired #2 and #3 of the Court of Owls storyline (2011), and I believe both to be 9.8s, their corners and covers are flawless, sharp, no stains, no tears, no creases, no spine ticks etc from what I’ve seen. The best condition books in my collection and they’re 9 years old! They look better than my CGC graded 9.8 Batman #89 from earlier this year! That being said, I’ve seen a few of the court of owls storyline graded by CGC on eBay, almost none of them have grader notes despite issues containing 1st cameos/full appearances of the court of owls, Talon, whisper gang, etc. I have found 2 on eBay that have graded notes for #2 but I have also found others of the same issue without any notes. Anyone know if that’s subject to change? Or why they do not include the “1st appearance” notes? Older slabs? I want to send them in to be graded and would prefer they have the “first appearance of talon” “first cameo appearance court of owls” “first whisper gang” especially since the Batman trilogy is rumored to include the court heres pics of my two issues as well as a screenshot off google of graded issues, if you zoom in none have notes

Hope everyone’s doing well Recently made the purchase of this Amazing Spider-Man #44 & I was hoping for some thoughts on the grade? Covers are pretty good all things considered, there’s the stains (not sure if it’s ink or paint) at the top of the book as seen in the photos below but none of them affect the story or artwork. You couldn’t notice them at all once they’re slabbed, I barely even noticed when I purchased the book. I compared the covers to my CGC 5.0 Ms Marvel & the ASM 44 definitely has better covers and corners Let me know! Thanks!

Hahaha I really liked the Court of Owls storyline, a lot of wild moments ! Hope the rumors are true because the court is an extremely interesting aspect of the Batman universe in my opinion

There are some really cool variant covers for Batman #92, and I agree that having a first full appearance of a new character is really cool, I recently bought Secret Wars #8 (my first bigger purchase) which is the origin of the symbiote which is super cool to me, my local shop had Amazing Spider-Man 252 when I was there a few weeks ago, I contemplated buying it but the condition wasn’t the best so I passed on it but seeing it was pretty cool! That same day I ended up purchasing Batman #657 (first Damian in Robin costume) as well as Batman #2 2011 (first Talon appearance) and Batman #3 2011 (first whisper gang appearance & first cameo appearance of the court of owls). Really happy to have these in my collection especially with the rumors of the court of owls appearing in the upcoming Batman trilogy! They’re in spectacular condition, personally believe they could fetch a 9.6-9.8 easily from CGC

CGC states that it’s her first appearance by cameo and her face is not included (I read the digital copy and noticed it). My dad was just doing something nice for me, I didn’t know he was doing it and he went out of his way, so even if it’s technically not her “first real appearance” I don’t care because my Dad saw it, thought I’d like it, and bought it for me. Has sentimental value now

You’re right I haven’t seen that comic before! Price is steep for better condition no surprise, really cool one though! I’ll certainly be careful around eBay, I’ve been looking into other sites and auctions as well

Yeah I will definitely hold this one close to me! And yeah I always look out for the ratings of the shops whose comics I'm looking at, have to be extremely careful, I have been using Facebook, eBay, and other websites for clothing and sneakers (same idea) for purchasing for years, always have to be careful about sellers

Some day I hope to have some of the older comics of Spider-man, Batman, Superman, Shazam, etc

I swear so many comic books I don't even know about, I've currently been focusing on the newer stuff but I know Ill eventually venture into GA and SA

I've looked at the same comic before, I['m all about grabbing comics with the first appearances of my favorite heroes/villains but that one is one of the many out of my current price range haha!
