Another incredible price for issue 59. 9.6 sold for $24,000 at Heritage last night.

Can anyone think why this 59 shot up so much at yesterday's heritage auction??? It went for $6,600.

Agree, I am actually thinking of picking up the 7 issue own title from 1969. The Nick Cardy art is great. Certainly significantly easier than trying to complete the Showcase run. Here is my 76:

FD - There is a Pacific coast 68 9.4 on shortboxed if interested??? I bid on the number 1 at the recent comic connect auction. Just missed out, gutted. Wont see that one for sale again I don't think.

Sorry it didn't work out on that 28 Floridian. A 9.4 on that one would be epic. I'm still looking for that issue myself. I cant find anything to add to my collection at the moment. The periods of time waiting for a good candidate to appear on the market are getting much longer. I'm sure you will encounter this at some point in the Showcase quest.

Oh yes, the stunning Boston Pedigree copy. I bid on that book in comiclinks march auction but missed out on it. If I remember it went for $750.

Agree, love the 'show and tell' videos. Some epic comics and collections. Would highly recommend others to check them out. I watched the LB Cole video today actually. I'm over in the UK so you can tell your brother he has world wide audience.

It is a lovely copy and at a good price too. Good buy. A 9.6 of 77 was also at heritage that went for $630, I was tempted to upgrade but decided against it in the end....
