  1. There are still deep pocket collectors out there that want to be #1. What if two of them see it and start a bidding war. Kinda like the Spiderman 9.8 on ebay that only had 4 copies and past sales around 300 and they bid it up to almost 3k.
  2. How do you think the saeson will end tonight? Cliffhanger?
  3. Most shows on network TV are twenty + episodes. Shows on HBO and Showtime like True Blood or Dexter are usually 12 or 13. which is funny considering how awesome those series are you think they would make more episodes! Quality over Quantity haha Need Quantity and quality. I really hope we aren't waiting 1 year for season 2
  4. Now heading into a different direction where can it go. The CDC their prison home now?
  5. I think new art students could draw a better picture than that piece of garbage. The 9 Sprites and sandwiches would have been a better investment.
  6. Had a great transaction with Frank and he had great shipping.
  7. Thanks to Jimm94 for sending my ASM 361,362,363 9.8's very nicely packed and safe from the danger of the USPS
  8. Your statement would be fine if we were dealing with one of a kind items here. We are not. Reread what I "bolded" above, what if you had paid 300% of OS? Of course the other person would feel good about it! Where would that leave you when you realize that your Spawn #1 isn't even worth 100% of guide and you find another one for 20% of what you paid? Would you still feel good about that purchase or would you be pissed? I would be pissed probably because i was stupid enough to pay that and not researching good enough I wouldnt jump at the first 1 i see unless its been a long trek and i knew i had to get it at that price.
  9. My take on all this, is as follows. Comics are nothing more than paper and worth what they are printed on. It is the collector that makes the item more valuable than what it is. If you think it it 2 high dont bid or buy it. A seller can ask for anything they want, it is up to a buyer if they are willing to purchase it. I have paid more than GPA and less than GPA, it is your collecting habits that influence how much to pay. If you are bidding or buying certain comics you have a idea of what it is going for and the scarcity of the item. I have picked up good deals here and from Blazingbob and other venues. If I felt I got a good price then the other person must have felt good about it also because they accepted my bid or BIN. In the end it is up to the buyer they are the one with the POWER since they make the purchase.
