  1. I think they have barely just started opening May boxes. I have a box that was delivered May 12th that hasn't even been checked in yet. If its any indication of where they are at I have a Modern/Slow from April 1st that was finalized and mailed Friday.
  2. @Ninja0215 the last of my CCS books from January have been shipped today so hopefully you are right around the corner. One of my boxes from last week had some grades that bummed me out but the last of the batch (the one that had the big books) finished strong with some killer grades. Heres to hoping you get yours soon and you get some nice grades!
  3. It went into grading/encapsulation today! So I guess the good news is that you dont start at the back of the line once it gets back from CCS.
  4. It took me almost 7 months to the day to get my books from CCS to CGC. Received early January and were accepted back at CGC last week. Today they were moved to SFG. TBD if that means I am now jumping the line and going into grade or if I now must wait another 100+ business days. Last time I used CCS (earlier this year) it seemed to only take 10 days to go through grading once it came back from CCS.
  5. Modern/Slow Track that was delivered 4/1, received 4/29 went into Grading/QC today One of my Two CCS/Modern Boxes from 1/12 was received back to CGC 7/1 and today switched to scheduled for Grading today.
  6. That would be killer. I got charged by CGC today for this box along with a bunch of orders from April so keeping my fingers crossed a bunch of my orders are getting close to their return. (But also not holding my breath) It seems like a toss up when CGC decides to charge you.
  7. Yep! I was charged May 25th. I had a bunch of back and forth emails going with customer service for the same reason you are concerned (and because last time i used CCS in October of last year I was charged the same day it went back to CGC) They told me once you are charged it takes 5 weeks for it to transfer back to CGC which actually turned out to be 5 weeks plus two days. I actually thought they were feeding me made up responses to get me to go away for 5 weeks but their eta was fairly spot on.
  8. I quickly learned my lesson after this box. Ive been using CSCS pressing in Los Angeles since this submission and have probably 400+ books submitted after that will inevitably lap this box.
  9. @Ninja0215 My CCS order from early January that we have been comparing was FINALLY moved back to CGC today. By my calculations (now that TAT went up again) my books will be coming back to me November 19th. INSANE... almost a full year.
  10. No Problem. I actually have spent the last day building out an excel spreadsheet tracker that @Cool Ghoul recommended with helpful formulas back on page 853 so I can stop obsessively refreshing the submissions page. I seemingly only have one submission thats back from Jan 12th that went through CCS that is now past due where it should be in the process.
  11. Yep! I have a prescreen/modern from 3/24 thats still stuck at "received" and by my calculations i still wont get it back until 8/10 based on their current projections.
  12. This company is so inconsistent. My books are on the same path as yours but my benchmarks are about a week earlier and still stuck at "received"
  13. My 4/28 Delivery was checked in this morning so hopefully you shouldn't be too far behind.
  14. Finally got a response from customer service on this. The guy I talked to claims after you are charged by CCS it is 5 WEEKS before its moved back to cgc.
  15. Yes. I used CCS in October of last year and didn't get my books back until March and within that time I submitted my January box that you and I have been comparing times. I have now switched to this guy based in Los Angeles: https://www.cscspressing.com/ . Since switching to him I've had 3 boxes lap my January shipment (and probably a few more before all is said and done). He's relatively cheap - 10 bucks a book, 10% discount every 10 books submitted, 20% for 20 books submitted and he turns books around in 2-3 weeks. He's gotten me a better 9.8 return than when I went through CCS, so I cant complain. CGC still hasn't started unboxing from the date they announced the rate change so I feel like I whacked the CCS wait mole, but CGC is going to be a problem once we really see what that backlog is.
  16. Since your submission is only 3 books sometimes the smaller boxes get to jump the line. One of my last submissions had something like 28 books submitted at the same time and the straggler 3 came back to me like 2 weeks before the others.
  17. You more than likely still have a ways to go. I was charged by CCS on 5/20 and my books are still stuck at received from the original January date ccs opened the box. Ive been doing the same thing, refreshing the page 3+ times a day since I was charged. Continuously punishing myself hoping that this box will move to cgc or my 4 submissions since April show up in the system.
  18. They send an email with an invoice. But pro tip - always print a hard copy of your original invoice for yourself when packing or dig up your original invoice in your email. It seems like its a 50/50 shot on if they charge you the proper rate or the new inflated rate. The ask CGC board is flooded with people complaining about this.
  19. Out of curiosity, have you been charged by CCS yet? I think you and I have boxes on the same Modern & Press path from back in January. Mine have been sitting at CCS for a total of 96 business days (Delivered 1/12). I was finally charged by CCS two weeks ago and my package still has not been received back to CGC (although i suppose i still have another 13 days based on their ETA). Was hoping id see an update this week, but not looking likely. Thought it was worth comparing notes with you.
  20. In my experience, there is zero rhyme or reason. Sometimes they charge me the minute my books are checked in, sometimes I am charged right when it goes into grading, other times they charge me somewhere in the middle. If you use CCS its even wonkier. I have a press and grade received by CCS in early January (never pressing with them again) where I was charged two weeks ago by CCS and my books still haven't even been received back to CGC yet
  21. Yeah, I think this one is just the suit. The persona of "Mr. Knight" doesn't come into play til #1.
  22. Key collector sent a push notification to subscribers that the Mr. Knight moniker is featured in the D+ series. 14' #1 is the first time Moon Knight assumes that moniker.
  23. Quick question for anyone who has used CCS before (this is my first time using the CCS side of things). I got charged by CCS on 2/3 and today my status was updated from "received 10/15" to "received 2/25". Is that real life that it took them 22 days to walk my books across the hall only for the 43 day modern clock to start again? I have another batch that was pressed with these at the same time that didn't update and are still marked as "received 10/15". I think I already know the disappointing answer, but thought Id ask anyway.
  24. Did you get charged for CCS yet? I am in a similar boat. Mine were received a week before yours and my card was charged for CCS about a month ago at this point. To my understanding it is supposed to go to received again with an updated date for when your books get back to CGC but I am still stuck on "Received 10/15".
  25. Following up - this was received today (2 weeks even)
