Whaaa I didn't know the book is worth under $100

Wow the Boy Comics sold for $1150!!! For all you experts out there, without all the hype and all, how much should it have sold for?

At least it looks like the book is going to a collector and not a flipper

Anyone on here was bidding or even won the Archie Comics #1 at the Proxibid auction today? Book looks to be in the Fair condition. Sold for $8250. Pretty strong price. Auction had some other nice books as well.

I'm surprised as well. My 9.6 is comparable to my 9.8.. Was shocked it graded out at a 9.6. I guess the graders were strict that day. I've seen 9.8's with a definite spine stress that breaks color on the spine. My 9.6 copy does not have it and it was never pressed if it would help at all

Bill loves it more . In fact, I think of Bill everytime I see a Bat 1. I soo too actually! Everytime I look at my copy, I always wonder of Bill is looking at his copy too. Would be awesome if Joker was placed on the cover of Bat 1.. I wonder how it would look if he was in it.

Superman 1 has a lot of significance in my opinion and should not be deemed as just a reprint book from Action 1

So much haters on this book

$50k+, pending eye appeal. Yeah $50+ is about the ballpark value for a 3.5

I think overtime, its value will maintain and will have slight upward movement as years go by. it won't have huge rises in spikes compared to say a AF 15 or a Hulk 1. A key regardless and a great book to have in you collection.

That's a nice looking 4.5! I'm guessing that there is some interior staining that could have dropped the grade down? Looks like a VF copy to me
