  1. +1 @Sqeggs You are probably right. Though Given your copy sold in April 2016 for $3800 and the market has been a tear I wouldn't be surprised if it did make that number.
  2. Note the line along the bottom of the book and also partially visible on the FC is not water damage it is a tanning halo. Also note the corner chip on the bottom right corner FC. Otherwise book is really nice.
  3. I also think I remember a ASM 125 that bumped to a 9.9 on resubmission from a 9.8.
  4. My all time favourite. Pity I don't have a higher grade copy. Or an American edition. But this will do as a place holder.
  5. I was thinking with the bottom corner crunch 9.0.
  6. I'd put a Prize 37 in Vg at around 2k. Very desirable hitler cover, hard to find and Prize Comics issues have been commanding strong prices in the last 12 months.
  7. Great pick up. I seriously eyed that one for a while.
  8. I think that is a pretty good grade for that amount of over-spray. If the book had been stained to that degree by anything other than dist ink you'd be looking at a 5.0 at best.
  9. Lays flat. Decent amount of gloss left. Note the tear on the top left hand corner of FC, does not go through book. Light reading crease. And some nicks/cuts on spine that go through the cover.
  10. Someone tried something similar with an action 1 recently. I bet we are dealing with the same fraudster.
  11. Yeah I did think it was odd. Basically no profit after eBay fees. I guess I was more interested in figuring out if people think this book is scarce? And whether they think it is worth that much?
  12. Is Spook 22 really that rare? I notice a 5.0 sold for $2500 in September and has now been relisted by the purchaser with a markup: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Spook-22-L-B-Cole-Extremely-Rare-/182837352760?hash=item2a91f49938:g:ydMAAOSwSFBZ5jPa
  13. This is old news. Also, it isn't the least bit surprising. If a classification system changes it should come as no surprise that the categories into which some things fall should also change.
