  1. As with anything else on social media, your image is important. Create a graphic (like on Canva) with all the important details. In your description you can go a little deeper, but really and truly pay attention to the hashtags you're using. Look through other comic sellers on IG and copy whatever hashtags would do the best for you. Also utilize IG stories. A lot of people I know that flip on IG do well with stories.
  2. The Buck Rogers BLB are on my want list -- I collect Buck in general. I absolutely love your spread!
  3. @Bluemedgroup hit it out of the park with my gift. I can't thank you enough!!
  4. Soooo these technically aren't Golden Age, but I think everyone here will appreciate. My ex got me a pretty great Christmas gift this year, and in it were these BLBs. I've never owned a BLB before (that I can recall) so this was exciting for me.
  5. Merry Christmas to you all. I'll be spending tomorrow enjoying some champagne.
  6. I honestly can't believe I was picked third. Yay!!
  7. Hey y'all! A few years ago @Rich_Henn and I started a comic book and beer podcast called Barzinga. Some of you might remember it. Well, Rich and I are still going with it, and we even have another co-host now. So if you need something to do this weekend, why not check out our little project? We have interviews with Charlie Adlard, Alan Dean Foster, and more. In the next week or so we'll even have a three part interview with Mark Zaid! So give us a like, subscribe on YouTube, grab a cold beer, and join us on Barzinga. Barzinga!
  8. Typically it is. In the past it's landed pretty high on my own list as well.
  9. Every year there's only one thing I want but never get. Greggy's junk.
  10. For Archie specifically, I had a Pep 22 that I got off of these boards years ago. I sold it in 2016, and I'd like to get another one next year.
  11. Yes and no. Feel free to Venmo me $50 and I'll give you an in depth answer.
  12. Yes -- but only in the reboot. Chip Zdarsky was the driving force behind that IIRC, tho I personally look at the Bob Montana canon and reboot are separate universes.
  13. So throughout the decades Jughead has indicated that he genuinely likes Betty, and would pick her if he was into dating. In 1988 Jughead shares a first kiss with his childhood sweetheart, Joani. He has even shown romantic interest in Ethel through the years, but because Archie Comics have 0 continuity these romantic storylines were usually abandoned quickly.
  14. My comic shop (shoutout to Third Eye Comics!) was nice enough to send my gift out for me -- which should have been this past Monday. So to my boardie, you will get your gift. Hopefully soon.
  15. She is, but she's my favorite. Her and Jughead would honestly make the most dynamic couple -- in fact, during the Golden Age, she did develop a slight crush on Juggie. Canonically tho Jughead has admittedly had a thing for Betty, and they would also be a cute couple (which they were/are in Riverdale).
  16. I might have written about this in a prior Overstreet, but in case I didn't: Neither. He should be by himself. Archie, at his core, is too caught up with the impossible dream of being rich and famous at the expense of Betty. Veronica herself is also a jerk for allowing her "best friend" to be manipulated so easily. Then again I'm looking at these comics too deeply.
  17. Thanks! I was very proud of being so young and owning a Life With Archie #2. To quote my dad (who bought the book for me after negotiating with the comic shop) "You're going to destroy this book and I'm going to regret this purchase". It's still in the same condition!
  18. In this case it's modifying the box. But in every case, you may get some bootleg Baltimore merch. Imagine a box filled with Baltimore Snorliole, a movie called Pomade, etc. Horrifying.
  19. No one should ever accept a fake Baltimore Lauren Baltimore Box(tm).
  20. These were taken when I was probably around 8/9/10 -- as most of you know I'm a hardcore Archie fan, and have been for 30 years now.
  21. Here's a non Christmas photo I took in October. You know, for the heck of it.
  22. Rich, did you send that person beer? That box is suspiciously beer case shaped. (I'm kidding, I have no idea what it is.)
