  2. Huge Walking Dead News: (this has already been posted in General but I thought it should be here too) AMC is close to finalizing one of the richest development deals ever with Frank Darabont to write and direct a series adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel series "The Walking Dead," written by Robert Kirkman. Variety says that Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion are also on board to executive produce. The story is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live. AMC Senior Vice President of Programming Joel Stillerman said the series will stay faithful to the tone of the original novels. "This is not about zombies popping out of closets. This is a story about survival, and the dynamics of what happens when a group is forced to survive under these circumstances. The world (in 'Walking Dead') is portrayed in a smart, sophisticated way."

  8. It is a humorous take on the great 1950's & 60's low budget Monster/Horror Movies. It is fun but gets very difficult in later levels. I remember my buddy and I coming close to beating it but never quite finishing the game.
  9. This is OT for Walking Dead but kind of fun for zombie lovers. I have been dabbling a bit in collecting factory sealed video games and recently picked this one up. Brings back fond video gaming memories. And now back to our regularly scheduled program...

  21. Big fan!! I went to the Joe Hill panel at the SDCC last year. His speech and mannerisms are very similar to this Dad. He read some of this work (short stories) to us and then he actually read a bit of Locke & Key. It was a rather unique experience to have a comic book read aloud by the author. It was interesting to hear him talk about breaking into the industry without name dropping his father and mother (who is also a novelist). His agent didn't even know that he was Stephen King's son until after his first book was picked up. I'm sure Hill's success is much more gratifying now knowing that he achieved it with hard work and talent. I would recommend his novel Heart Shaped Box to horror fans. I am looking forward to reading his short story anthology 20th Century Ghosts and of course the ongoing saga of Locke & Key.
