As with kellyssuperheroes, CGC saves me from another one. This beatlebluecat is one shady baller.
Edit: I realize I can't go necroing every shady seller, so this will be my last. But I was just about to buy from two in a row, saw warning signs, and here are the threads. Is the moral here no raws off ebay?
Very late but no, you can find great deals buying raw books off of Ebay you just have to find a reputable seller that isn't juicing their listings. I think CGC estimates in the listing are shady, generally, but a VF/NM designation is fine. Just make sure there are plenty of pictures and ask for more if need be.
I found a seller with really nice wares that will probably yield a lot of very high grade books. They're priced fairly, though a bit on the high side for big lots, and he doesn't seem to know to list all the key issues in the title so some end up going well below FMV. So there are great sellers on Ebay you just need to do your due diligence.

So....question
Where does this book wind up?
If Venom can keep holding down solo films and ongoing monthlies then it's going nowhere but up for quite some time...
If not...

My submission also disappeared from my account very briefly but it is showing up again now. I downloaded my submissions so that I have a copy of my submission number but it looks to be a momentary flub

Apparently that's all it takes these days
IMO Daredevil has long been way undervalued and super underpriced when compared to the other major Marvel heroes that debuted around that time. Daredevil's Netflix show was popular and IMO, again, it's the first successful adaption of the character. I think DD has a lot of room to grow but that's all speculation.
For me at least I've got more than rumors about a cameo in mind, I think DD could be bigger than ever in the coming decades. Could be wrong though

If I had the funds, I would be buying all things x-men now before everyone jumps on.
I'm getting in on Daredevil personally. Probably lower upside but way lower buy in too. I can actually maybe pick up the first Daredevil appearance in 2021. Maybe.

They announced the director for their Fantastic Four film... probably won't drop until 2023 and we probably won't hear too much more until maybe this time next year but get ready for everything FF to heat up until then...

Type: In-House Signing/Grading
Received: 10/20/20
Status: Received
Turnaround time should be about 65 working days for expedited clean, press, and grading...

I want to unload all of my Amazing Spider-Man duplicates, first and foremost. Should be able to get that done but we'll see.
I'm at 320/441 of Amazing Spider-Man vol 1 so I want to continue to fill gaps here and there but there are only 2 major key goals for 2021...
Amazing Spider-Man 14 and DareDevil 1
Not sure I'll be able to get both of those done next year but I'm saving my nickels...

There are hundreds of thousands of this book floating around but this one is mine. Or, well, the nicer of my two copies. Might post my reader some time as I'm also curious about learning to grade books on the lower side of the scale too. Anyway
Thoughts? I do plan on getting this pressed and cleaned when I eventually get it graded if it matters

Well the seller can claim it was never read but it certainly has been handled. I would grade it 8.0 as is. The finger creases can be pressed out and I think the line in Dagger is just a printing issue. White areas are not hard to clean if that isn't ink. I believe a press would bring it up to the 9.2 range at least. It could grade even higher but I wouldn't want your hopes to be set too high.
Definitely. Most everything else that came with this one was also very clean but the copy of Spider-Man versus Wolverine unfortunately had a big fingerprint on the cover that had removed some ink. No spine ticks though
I just got in the Amazing Spider-Man lot I mentioned earlier and the copy of ASM194 is seriously disappointing. The seller specifically mentioned this particular issue was a very high grade copy but it has significant color rub on the cover. I'd be surprised if it could fetch any higher than a 7.0, if that

Hello everyone! Thank you in advance if you choose to take a look at these. Because the total size of these images exceeds the max total size by a good bit I've decided to include an Imgur link with more images. I am not a professional or even amateur grader, but I've also included my thoughts on these books and any questions I might have. There are a bunch of these so feel free to only look at one or two of them. Thank you again!
Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man 64 - 1st Cloak and Dagger - This one has a few issues most of which I assume a press will remove. There is some crinkling along the top border that does not break color. There also appears to be a line running through the white of Dagger's body(there's a close-up in the Imgur link). Since it's a white area I'm not sure if they will attempt to remove that or not, but hopefully it can be taken care of.
Again there are more pictures in the link above but here's a big shot of the front cover and the back cover
I would appreciate any insight any of you might be able to share. I got this from a vendor who says all of his wares are unread and... they look like it to me. But I'm trying to get a better sense of the quality before I go back and buy up pretty much everything he has. He has a big ASM run from about 150 to 400 and some other things I'm interested in so again I'd appreciate your thoughts! Thanks a bunch!

Nothing is "wrong" with it per se, it's a 9.0 of the Golden Records Reprint, not ASM #1. Both very, very nice books but ASM #1 is worth 30-300x more depending on the grade
