We have the same order, except that I do not have sub-grades, but yes I'm still in received as well. Being at 21 days makes me believe there is no shot we get this finished within the 30 day timeline, which is a bummer

For what's it's worth the staff told me in another thread that "Receiving" is the slowest stage, and that things tend to move quickly once scheduled for grading. I guess we'll find out soon!

Hi there, Sorry, I misunderstood originally.

Once a submission moves to "scheduled for grading" it moves very quickly through the process. The total turn times are including that "received" time. Also, our turn times are in business days if that helps. We also try to keep the website updated with the most accurate turn times.  For example right now Moderns are tracking 40 business days.

Thanks for clarifying. My turnaround time is estimated at 30 days, and we're 19 days in at present. But if "Receiving" is the biggest hurdle, that makes a bit more sense. Much appreciated.

We are backed up in receiving right now. You should see yours update to received very soon.

HI there, could you please advise? The problem is not that my order isn't in the system, it's that my order has been "Received" on the tracker for 19 business days.

Thanks for the reply! But I think there's been a misunderstanding. It's already "Received," and has been for 16 business days.

  5. HI there, I sent in a query through the CS form but haven't received a response. I'm wondering if there's an issue with my submission? Its status has been "Received" for three weeks now, or 15 business days. Since that's halfway through the total turnaround estimate, I'm wondering if there's an issue with the submission, or if there's just an unexpected backlog.

If a moderator could message me I can provide the order information. Many thanks!

Mine showed up in system today and was delivered on 10/30 so give it about 7 days or so

    remember they dont count weekends

So six or seven business days then. That seems reasonable. Thanks!

Edit for anyone else who may read this: mine appeared in the CGC system six business days after the post office tracking showed "delivered."

  7. Hi all, I'm Canada based and since there's no insurance option for the return shipment back to me, I'm planning on using U-Pic third-party insurance. The only concern is that I'll only have 1 day after the order is shipped to submit the package for U-Pic's coverage, and I'll need to be able to provide:

    • Package ID or Invoice Number
    • Carrier Tracking Number

Is this information available to me (by email, or via my CGC account, or anything?) when CGC issues the return shipment? I've never used CGC before so I'm not sure what details I get regarding the return shipment.

  8. Hi all!

I just signed up and began filling out a submission for grading 14 trading cards, but after filling out the card info, I see the only option for return shipping to Canada is a $200 Fedex option. Am I missing something? That seems excessive.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated, many thanks!
