  1. Never seen the beware's before..... another on the horror list!!!
  2. I have to say I changed my mind about 100 times on some of them, including the Miller's, had bids ready to go, changed my mind and over and over, until I walked away with the 3 I really wanted. I knew that if I had got several I would be in a "hunt the lot down" situation!! I just can't afford to do that after the last 12 months. So I was as strong as I could be and just went for the 3 I wanted and was lucky enough to get them. I am still waiting on delivery but I am sure they will be top notch! I was looking at a Wonder woman run on Ebay last night 176-203, the 70's clothes change and had that lined up but I managed to wrestle with my mind and didn't go for any of them! Did you get any more of them, they all fetched top end prices. If you did, let's have a look, there were some beauts!
  3. Nice books those Sterling. Are they the ones for sale last weekend on EBay? If so I was bidding on some of those. I managed to snag the 2 Miller ones and another one I was after. I was going to bid on all of them, but just had to hold back as my New Year resolution is to not spend so much money!! I paid over guide for the Miller's but they are pretty tough to find and they were nice highgrade and one of the few missing from my Miller collection.
  4. You guys knock me into a cocked hat!! Fair play to you. I am in awe of some of the collections out there, truly amazing. Slabbed books aren't my thing, I prefer the book to be unfettered, but I can see some of the attraction. I don't feel I will ever be swayed by it, but love to see the ones on here. It makes my raw books feel a little..... underdressed! But I still love them and will continue to throw some on here to show off with! As for the BA horror..... I love them and am collecting myself. I have NO Monsters on the prowl, so that will doubtless be high on my list for 2007! Lastly I would like to wish everyone on here a very happy and stress free Christmas from the UK and thanks for making me welcome in the short time I have been posting. I raise my glass to you all!
  5. WOW..... Love it!! Want it!!!! Gimmee Gimmeeeeeee!!!!!!
  6. Thanks.... what's QP? Excuse my ignorance!! Beyonder's term: Quality of Production...alignment of the cover in most cases. See the copies with a bunch of white on the left? (#18) That's poor QP. Good QP: #19. Understood, thanks for explaining. You are right and I noticed that as well. I thought you meant quality of the picture.... that's just my old digi camera coupled with my wobbly holding & poor light. They actually look a lot better in the flesh, so to speak!
  7. This was in the collection too and in really nice order too!
  8. May as well carry on now!! Full set of Weird Mystery Tales in its entirity (Other than the ones already posted!):
  9. Just for you Sterling!! Thought I'd add #22 as well..... love it!!
  10. Particularly like this and it came with this certificate.... anyone know much about this kind of collection?
  11. I have just got full runs of Swamp Thing & Weird Mystery Tales in nice high grade, wondered if anyone wants to have a butcher's at them? (Missing ST #1 on its way seperately!!) Little taster:
  12. Lets have a go at this thread then!! My next lot may have a bit of a theme to it!!
  13. Got full sets of Swamp Thing (Except #1 which will be along seperately!) & Weird Mystery Tales through my door yesterday. Great high grade sets. Taster here, will put them up in detail on the BA part under BA horror. By the way... Love the Adam Strange book!!
