    I'm not sure the exact equation they use, but from what I've seen, it's rare to get more than a point higher for your overall grade than your lowest sub grade. For example you could have 10 centering, 9 edges, 8 corners and 3 surface and your card will grade 4 at best. So I assume to get a full point above your total grade it has to be a significant difference. But I don't know what that difference is.

    For people using this thread as a marker, my cards took 6 business days after being delivered to be in received status.ive been on received for going on 4 days

    It seems like they are slowing down,I'm assuming they are taking in more cards than the last few months. Mine took 6 business days but was delivered before yours.and I've heard another submitter has been around 8 business days

    I wouldn't panic unless it's well over a week without being entered.if they have they package it is sitting in their vault.and given that you insured it for full value,the postal service and CGC will do everything they can to not lose or damage cards.my submission took 7 days after delivery to be entered. Remember PSA is holding packages months before opening them right now
