  1. I would expect it to change later this week or early next week, and then supposedly it takes about 1 week to reach the shipping stage from there. That's only 35 biz days btw https://www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html?d1=30&m1=11&y1=2020&d2=21&m2=1&y2=2021&ti=on&
  2. The cuts on the top and bottom edges look a little rough to me, so I'm wondering if they counted that on surface rather than edges. If you get it back and still can't find an issue, crack it and send it back in. People have been doing that for years with PSA
  3. I sold the few that I had left unopened (i.e. I didn't think they had a chance to grade a 10) for $300-325. For a free card with many print lines/scratches due to its holo being the way it is that pricing is just too hard for me to pass up.
  4. Thank you for that! Was wondering how long that last process would be as my order from 11/23 was just moved to "scheduled" today.
  5. I have had an order there since 11/23 that was just moved to scheduled for grading, looks like they may be really backed up on the orders received during Thanksgiving week.
  6. Received 11/23, scheduled for grading today (1/20). 38 business days to those wondering.
  7. 11/23 on received, welcome to the club. There are donuts on the table
  8. To be fair, they have said multiple times that the current listed turnaround times reflects their timeframe of getting orders out. I feel they have communicated the delays well. Most people complaining are complaining about bulk orders that aren't at 60 days yet. However, they definitely could have changed them in real time rather than waiting until delays were double the original.
  9. The issue is that they process mail (of equal tiers) as it comes in, so if yours is backlogged they literally have not seen it yet and can't tell you if it is there or not.
  10. I would sure hope not. SGC (not CGC yet as far as I know) has been known to do this to "please more customers" but it didn't really make sense to me when I heard that as it meant you were prioritizing customers giving you less business over those giving you more.
  11. Definitely not all, but I have seen some with bad centering. PSA would likely not even grade that one as it is so slanted, but I am guessing CGC would! Not sure of the value but it would be cool to see it slabbed
  12. IIRC that was around the time they changed too so I would guess closer to the 60 day turnaround tbh
  13. To piggy back, I am curious as to why is this the case? Is this the way that it works on the comic book side of things? It seems to me based on other companies in the card-grading space that payment should not be taken until services have been rendered.
  14. Agreed. I have a bunch of cards coming in from COMC this week and I will likely give CSG a shot with the more valuable ones in a bulk order because the turnaround time will likely be great out the gate (like CGC's was).
  15. Contact customer service phone #, they've always been helpful for me and should be able to help you get it figured out. I would assume it's no charge but can't tell you for sure as I haven't had the same thing happen.
  16. Also curious to see as I am in the same boat but with a 11/23 bulk order, at 31 days today and hasn't budged. Last order was received 11/6 and shipped 12/31, which was I believe 33 business days. Also have orders received 12/1, 12/2 (weird that the 2 bulk orders sent in one box weren't received same day), and 12/9 but much less optimistic on the 30-ish day turnaround on those for obvious reasons.
  17. I used FedEx so I got it pretty quickly. Can't remember exact date but less than a week later.
  18. There's something wrong with your order if that's the case. Did you enter all cards in correctly? Not sure why yours would be still scheduled when mine was received 11/6/20 and finalized/shipped 12/31/20.
  19. Not sure how this thread got so off the rails. For everyone’s information, my order that was received on 11/6 was Finalized and Shipped on business day 36.
  20. This is unfortunate. The fact that times doubled upon being "reflective" of the time submissions are shipping out makes me wonder if they held out as long as possible before changing them. As their turnaround time gets closer and closer to PSAs they will almost surely have less customers for Pokemon (not sure how the YGO community feels about them). Hopefully they find a way to keep up with this increase in demand as they had that as a true selling point when first entering the scene. If you want to run a business successfully you HAVE to solve a problem that the companies already in that space don't.
  21. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/ This may be what you are referring to. There have been occasional issues popping up with mislabeled cards, but CGC will generally fix that free of charge.
  22. 1. You need to pay for shipping to CGC separately, this was just the packing slip. 2. It's highly unlikely they will upcharge you unless you go way above. If you're sending in a base Charizard under the bulk pricing you are probably asking for an upcharge. But if it's cards that are around $100-150, probably not a huge deal and unlikely they'll upcharge you. The self-reported value is more for their coverage in case the card gets damaged/lost, so if it does happen you are covered.
  23. While not great, it at least means the market as a whole is starting to accept CGC. Still a crazy good turnaround compared to PSA/BGS. That said, I do wish I would’ve known of the turnaround time change before sending in my newest order
