  1. Amazing Spider-Man #53 (Oct. 1967) FN- 5.5. Sharp and clean copy, with nice retention of gloss and color. Light edge wear bottom edge; slightly rounded corner top and bottom right; one or two touches of minor spine wear; abraded corner and chunk out top left, which prevents a higher grade. Nice book!
  2. Amazing Spider-Man #45 (Feb 1967) VG+ 4.0-4.5. Another very attractive comic with enough small flaws to keep it in the VG realm; small corner tear lower right; some light reading creases along spine.
  3. Amazing Spider-Man #44 (Jan 1967) VG+ 4.5. Nice collectible/readable VG issue. Comic is tight and clean; some spine wear and light reading creases along spine; some rust on staples with minor staple migration, mainly visible on center page; otherwise extremely clean cover for this grade, with some expected loss of reflectivity.
  4. Amazing Spider-Man #37 (June 1966) G/VG 3.0 sharp and tight reading copy or lower grade collectible; loss of reflectivity and some color fading on cover; lots of spine wear, including staple tears, color flecks, stress lines. Still attractive and eminently readable, with creamy interior.
  5. Amazing Spider-Man #32 (Jan 1966) VG+ 4.5 light dust shadow upper right corner; light, largish corner crease lower right; some accumulation of spine stress, all visible in scan. Very attractive at this grade, conservatively given.
  6. Amazing Spider-Man #30 (Nov 1965) FN- 5.5 Stan Lee and Steve Ditko This is a very attractive book that has lost some reflectivity yet still retains some light glossiness and sharp colors; corner crease lower right; edge wear top edge including one longish (1”) light crease; light spine wear including several stress lines, tiny color fleck; touches of edge wear right edge including small impact crease and a tiny tear. Very attractive comic
  7. Amazing Spider-Man 25 (June 1965) VG- 3.5. 1st appearance of Mary Jane (cameo) Strong and vivid color that reveals a decent amount of grade appropriate wear when viewed at the right angle. There is a good deal of spine wear, though the book is tight and secure. Very nice for this grade.
  8. Amazing Spider-Man 24 (May 1965) VG/FN 5.0. This book was once graded by PGA as a FN- 5.5. I’m more prone to calling in a conservative 5.0; this is an attractive copy an important book. Factors consistent with the grade include: some loss of glossiness (though still plenty to shine); corner crease lower right; slight corner chip lower right; tiny corner crease top right; a few spine stress lines; edge wear top edge. Nice, early Spidey! Spidey, Sandman and Vulture cover.
  9. Amazing Spider-Man 23 (Apr 1965) VG+ 4.5. Going conservative on this attractive book, the third appearance of the ever popular Green Goblin. Overall appearance of this book is excellent. Closer inspection reveals flaws consistent with the grade including: some surface wear to cover; minor corner creasing lower right (does not break color); several spine stress lines and staple tears from impacted staples; small tear back cover. Please see scan. Very sharp, especially for this grade.
  10. Amazing Spider-Man 22 (Mar 1965) VG/FN 5.0 This is an attractive book that retains nice glossiness and has strong presentation value. Grade specific flaws include: minor corner creases upper right and some edge wear top edge; light crease lower right corner; several spine stress lines.

  13. Everything great! Would be happy to do business with Matt anytime.
  14. Have just completed a second transaction with rapid08 of several ASM books. Friendly communications and super quick payment. A pleasure.
  15. Bought three books from my first board sale. Thanks! Instant payment, good communication. Books are on their way this a.m.
  16. Kudos to Nick. Fast and friendly for my first transaction on the boards
  17. Here are scans of the front and back. Back is a little soiled with a chip out of the bottom edge. Looks to have retained little gloss as well. I've added a scan of the front as well. Your informed comments are interesting to me. I'm a long time collector with a decent sized collection, though this is the only slabbed comic I own, in part I suppose because most of my buying occurred before CGC. Thanks for the comments!
  18. Back cover is nice and the spine is really clean for this grade. I will add that I bought the book slabbed, so never had a chance to inspect it outside of its holder. I think the main culprit must be the right edge, which has some pretty good chipping going on. In truth, I'm not well enough versed in CGC grading to speculate further, but the right edge is, to me, the most significant set of issues.
  19. Crappy photo, but glad to be able to add my copy to the collection here. I've had this one for about four years now,
  20. Bought this one in the mid-90's. Is it kosher to tell what one paid? Either way, time flies.
