One thing that I noticed with the changeover of the website is none of the QR codes on CGC TCG slabs take you directly to the certification info anymore. The QR codes for the TCG labels were coded to go to cgccomics.com but now entering in any TCG cert number in the comics site brings up an error message. I know the TCG site has their own cert lookup page but it's a bummer that one million + QR codes no longer work as intended.

Hopefully this is can be dealt with via some housekeeping on the backend.

This is kind of a HUGE deal.....is this getting fixed?  @CGC Mike

Cgc hasn’t been grading cards that long, and they’re $15 per card.

so in the last 1.5 yrs you’ve spent at minimum $90k plus shipping and insurance on card grading and you’ve gotten ONE 10??????!!!!!!

Prices weren't $15 when I submitted the majority of my cards.  With the membership discount, it was about $8.

And yes, 1 single 10.  Granted, most of my cards were WOTC era, but still 1000-2000 modern era cards fresh from pack to sleeve.

CGC Trading Cards is excited to announce the expansion of its expert authentication, grading and encapsulation services to include cards from many more of the most popular trading card games. Here is a list of cards that CGC Trading Cards is now accepting in addition to Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering cards.

    • Final Fantasy

    • Fire Emblem Cipher

    • Flesh and Blood

    • Force of Will

    • Harry Potter

That’s when you finally decided to show it as arrived. It took that long just to get it through your processing

stop complaining dude.  There are 10's of thousands of cards ahead of you.  You're not going to get any sympathy from anyone here.

It takes time to grade the card, print the labels, encapsulate the card, etc.

If you wanted it back faster, you should have paid for express service.

  6. CGC only grades Pokemon and MTG trading cards, so they will not grade that particular card.

As for the video game, CGC has yet to announce which game cases they will be grading.  My guess is they will be focusing on older game boxes and then move up to newer games.  Each game case (n64, Sega, PS1, Gameboy, DS, etc) all have different sized boxes, so they will have to develop/order/test all of these.

Maybe I'm wrong and Switch games will come available right off the start, but we won't know until they make the announcement.

  7. The question is in regards to the Pikachu and Charizard metal cards coming out in the ultra premium collection

    https://www.pokebeach.com/2021/10/metal-charizard-and-pikachu-cards-from-celebrations-revealed

Are these "cards"?  They can't be played....they're made of metal....would they fit in the holder?  Are they going to be able to submitted to be graded?

  8. Yes, send in the Charizard. Don’t bother paying for sub grades for a low grading card.

Yes, bulk orders are extremely common, often in the hundreds. Some of us have thousands of cards sent in with the bulk service.

Pokemon fans just curious what cards you have gotten graded, I do have a shadowed Charizard not in the best condition wondering if I should grade it or not as I know it will most likely be low. Are bulk orders pretty common does anyone just send in a bulk order with a ton of cards or do you all usually send them individually? Super new to all this getting ready to send my first comic in and now I am considering some of my cards. Thanks!
