  1. I sent in a 2020 "Special Delivery Pikachu" and the scan in their database is of a 1999 Pikachu.

Here are the cards side by side and a screenshot showing the wrong scan: https://imgur.com/a/SLIzmmr

I have been emailing back and forth with support. It took a few emails for them to even understand the issue, and they kept asking for more pictures of the cards as if that had anything to do with it.

I'm just not seeing what you're seeing

I don't know how to make the issue any more clear. Here are the pics of both cards, but the issue is on your website, not with the cards. Issue on this page: https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/3773368001/

Can't you see the Card Name and Cert # on the "certlookup" page do not match the scans on the same page? Seems like someone put in the wrong image for the database entry, or scanned the wrong slab. Maybe you want to get someone else to look at it.

They told me they would fix it ASAP on June 16. I followed up a couple weeks later and got no response.

The reason for that is that we are receiving more and more higher tiers which of course slow down the slower tiers. But they are working their hardest to catch up, I promise!

Why not rethink your pricing table in the short term to temporarily adjust for increased demand? There isn't a way to make everyone happy, but many bulk and economy submissions feel like their cards are being held hostage, which I assume is the majority. Maybe you don't want to do this because it sets a precedent every time there is an influx in submissions and you want to keep your prices stable. However I think there is a way to make it work, and if you are really scaling for the future, then this should only be a one time adjustment. At some point action needs to be taken if you can't hire fast enough and boxes continue to pile up.

PSA has already take action. If it were up to me I would combine Standard/Express and increase the price drastically relative to Bulk/Economy. The combine Bulk/Economy so it's not so easy to cut off other submissions with a little price difference. Then increase prices across the board to be more comparable to PSA. You can still undercut the competition without having insanely cheap prices and overloading your employees.

From a biz perspective, the flip side of a house full of cards sitting there waiting to be billed is that you KNOW what your revenue is going to look like for 4-5 months right now if you're CGC/PSA. It's basically locked in, you just can't tap it yet. Obviously that gives them an incentive to get through it quicker, but it also is a disincentive to completely staunch the flow. Customers might be mad, but they sure as hell aren't 'I'm going to stop sending cards' mad. I imagine if offered a couple of years ago as a potential situation, the CGC CEO would have been ecstatic to take the current situation. I imagine their big arguments are around how long this demand stays high like this. If they expand 50% and the submissions drop by 75%, they will not be in good shape.

They have already been paid for all the cards sitting there. The cards are liabilities, not future revenue. So quite the opposite of what you are saying.
