To anyone that has graded these. Did you send them in with the clear plastic sleeve on it liek it comes in the package, or did you remove and put in a normal penny sleeve?

Is anybody else having an issue where they can't add another service level? I have all my bulk for this order ready to go. But I also want to add on some cards for Add Another Service Level Standard and anytime I click Add Another Service Level everything on the page is greyed out and you can't go anywhere. I've done many other submissions and never had this issue before. Was wondering if its an issue with my account or if its a site wide issue.

The lowest Subgrade centering can get before being considered O/C is an 8. So would seem the Flareon would have been an 8 on centering, being the lowest grade the assign something not designated O/C then the other subgrades were high enough to keep it at a 9 overall.

I have been really satisfied with all of my submissions the past month with the exception of this one which I only paid extra for walkthrough because I needed the quick turnaround time... Walkthrough Received 6/24/2022 - Grading Quality Control is current status and has been for the past 4 days...

Anybody know how long walkthrough has actually been taking lately? CGC has been under promising and over delivering on recent submissions we have had at Bulk, Economy and Standard which is awesome. But kind of frustrated that I paid a lot more for Walkthrough when I actually needed a quick turn around time on something sent in last week and its just sitting at grading/quality control beyond the 3 business day turnaround.

If you look up Pokemon Base Set 4th Print on ebay you get 599 results currently in active listings. If you look up Pokemon base set 1999-2000 you get 1,110 results in active listings. If you look up Pokemon Base Set Gapless you get 0 results currently in active listings and 0 in sold listings. NOBODY calls it Gapless besides you.

On the pricing page for submission tier levels it states "Turnaround times reflect the estimated number of working days to complete a submission delivered to our facility today."

The 1/27 21 card with subgrade shipped back a day earlier than the 108 card 1/27 with no subgrades, the 1/28 is 86 with no subgrades so I would think that should be headed back my way soon.

They have probably been getting less submissions at the Economy Tier than before, they are using their best judgement for how long it will take a new order that is submitted today.

I had 2 different 1/27 bulk orders ship back this past week, 1 got back to me yesterday, the other scheduled for delivery Monday. My 1/28 bulk order is still in scheduled for grading.

Bulk 21 Card order with subgrades marked received 1/27, Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 6/29 Bulk 108 Card order no subgrades marked received 1/27, Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 6/30 Bulk 86 Card order no subgrades marked received 1/28, Scheduled For Grading (hopefully see this one push through next week) For the 2 orders marked received 1/27 once they went to Grading/Quality Control it seemed to be about 1 day until they switched to finalized/imaged/shipped

I think you would be fighting an uphill battle here, as there is no way of knowing/proving CGC in fact damaged the cards. Them being damaged in the same location means its possible that there was some kind of damage/impact to the package in transit to them (so they would not be responsible for damage caused in transit to them. If you insured the package being shipped to them and can get something from CGC stating that they were received in the damaged condition you might possibly be able to follow an insurance claim through whoever you shipped through.

Their focus seems to be on TCG type cards, guessing you wont see this for a long time if ever.

This is 100% not true on PSA, PSA is currently on early March for REGULAR submissions, for Economy they are at Sept 21st as their most recently completed, and they are at September 8th of last year for TCG Bulk.

For at least a month possibly longer Bulk and Econ were only a 2 day difference in listed turnaround time on CGC submissions page, knowing that, there could definitely be situations where a bulk order finishes before a economy order that was submitted around the same time frame.

Seems like that one random bulk order is just moving a little faster than others right now, as not seeing the same on bulk orders over here. Have 2 1/27 bulk orders and a 1/28 bulk order that are all at Scheduled for Grading, then February 8th which is still only marked as received.

Timing is just weird on some of these. I have a Standard that was marked received 3/17 I still have not gotten back yet. I also recently had a Express that went quicker than a Walkthrough that both were marked received same day. My sample size isn't super big but out of about 50 different submissions in the past 6 months I've noticed that in general stuff gets completed in the order I'd expect, but there are definitely some outliers that are much quicker, and others that take much longer.

Yeah it seems some orders just take longer than others. I have a Standard Marked received 3/17 thats still in Grading/Quality control, but got several April and even this early May one finalized already.

They send an email with a tracking number when stuff ships, so my guess would be from receiving that email.

Interesting on the change to 7 days on Express and I believe it might be accurate as walkthrough is also currently listed as 7 days. Not enough data points, but found it interesting that my recent submissions of Express and Walkthrough.... the Express finished sooner. They were shipped in the same box so opened same time. Express marked received 5/12, Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 5/27 (11 Working Days) Walkthrough marked received 5/12, Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 5/28 (12 Working Days)

Seems to be an ongoing issue, I had one that came back this week that was supposed to be shipped FedEx on my account number and instead was shipped back USPS Registered Mail so took several extra days.

They are going off their best estimate for NEW cards arriving right now, it seems to me they have been pushing through a huge backlog, and I'd think with the price increase they are getting fewer submission at the WalkThrough and Express levels, so they can say a new card arriving right now should only take approximately 7 business days.

Yes, I usually have submissions at all service levels besides economy which I think is a bad value (just send them all in one package to save on shipping out there) This submission had 6 different ones in it Walkthrough Express Standard Standard with subgrades Standard Error with subgrades and Bulk Kinda surprising the Standard with subgrades and the Standard Error with subgrades both came back already, but the normal standard no subgrades is still in Grading/Quality Control)
