  1. Not so sure on this, any package I've sent has been big enough that it would be a size that also fits comic books. This would probably only be applicable for people doing smaller submissions. A few stacks of bulk cards takes up the same length in the box as a comic book.
  2. Just had 2 bulk orders change to scheduled for grading, nice to finally see some movement there! 12/2/20 Bulk order no subgrades marked as received by CGC 2/10/21 marked as scheduled for grading 12/2/20 Bulk order with subgrades marked as received by CGC 2/10/21 marked as scheduled for grading
  3. The prices going over Beckett won't be an issue in about a week and a half when Beckett almost doubles their pricing on lower tier submissions in an effort to temporarily lower submissions and work through their backlog. CGC will be MUCH cheaper than the new beckett pricing that is about to start up.
  4. I'm thinking they need to hold off on adding new types of cards as it will only increase submissions, they need to get more grading staff/lower turnaround times before adding more product options which will increase the total number of cards submitted and cause turnaround times to go up even more.
  5. Just for a reference point I think its still gonna be another week or so at least before you see any movement. I have Express level cards marked as received on 1/27 that have still not moved past the "received" status" So those came in almost a full week before your cards and they have not been moved along in the process yet.
  6. Possibly a prize for that along with prize for most times bringing up a single submission in the chat boards as well!
  7. I'm aware pricing is supposed to increase Feb 16th. I'm wondering though is this for any new submissions that arrives at the Po Box 2/16 and later or is it for any submissions that get marked as received in the system 2/16 or later. For example I sent a 100ish card submission yesterday, if it arrives at the Po Box on 2/8, but sits there for a week+ because of mail backlog and does not get entered as received until 2/17, would I be charged the higher rate? Just looking for some clarification for the timeline of the price increase.
  8. Are you sure on this? I don't believe you can get 1.5 above your worst grade (I thought there was some kind of limit like if your worst grade of the subs is an 8 the highest total you could get is either 8.5 or 9, not sure which, but I thought it was something along those lines.
  9. Some people for collection uniformity want to either have all subgrades or no subgrades... Me personally I think the cases look better with the subgrades on them. So if I am going after completing a set I'm going to send in the lower value cards with subgrades as well, as I I think they display better.
  10. The data point is not very helpful without knowing what type of service level.
  11. 2 Card Standard Order with subgrades Received 12-18-2020 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 1-28-2021 Total of 26 "Working Business Days"
  12. They already allow you to submit subgrade and non sub grade in the same shipment you send to them.
  13. When in December were they marked as received? I just had a a 12/18 Received Standard order get changed to "scheduled for grading" on 1/15 as a reference point.
  14. Anybody else having an issue where if you go to view your submissions none of them are showing up? I was checking to see if any of mine had changed status to grading, and they had all disappeared. Where when looking yesterday I had 7 current submissions showing as status received between 12/2 - 1/7. My page currently says We haven't received any submissions from you in the last 8 months I tried logging out/in and still getting this issue. Is anybody else seeing this or has seen this before?
  15. They don't choose the shipping though, they give you the option when you sign up for your submission can do UPS, Fed Ex, or USPS and there are multiple shipping speeds offered such as FedEx Ground, FedEx Overnight. What return shipping option did you select?
  16. Yeah I thought things were going a lot smoother, and there was nothing that I can think of that is unique in nature about the cards I sent, I'm wondering if it is just a delay on them getting "bulk" shipments marked as received. My other December shipments had been getting marked as received almost immediately upon arriving at their PO Box.
  17. Was just curious if anybody who had sent something in recently has had it even post into submissions as received? Submissions I was sending in early/Mid December were being marked as received within 1-2 business days of arriving at the PO Box, which was a vast improvement over November submissions. But now I have something that was sent on 12/23, USPS tracking shows delivered on 12/29 and still not in the system. I get that the overall submission process is taking longer now, but it had seemed like CGC had caught up with the backlog of getting shipments initially into the submissions in your account. Can anybody comment on their recent submission timeframe for showing up in your account?
  18. So if this is correct 2 full business days would have it getting done normally around Noon on the 31st. They were closed the 31st. So even if it was 2 business days they would not be completing it and ready to ship out until afternoon of the 4th.
  19. Disappointing to see such a drastic jump, you would think it would slowly go up, not all the sudden double. I wonder if the reason is because of starting to accept sports cards in January so they are anticipating a giant increase in total cards received. (although not sure on that since sports cards is supposed to be a different company?)
  20. Does the English Equivalent have to be the exact same (or just similar) 2 Examples I have would be Aerodactyl Prerelease Promo from the Fossil Set. In the English print it was a 1st Edition Aerodactyl that had the prerelease stamp. I have Italian and German Prerelease versions that are Unlimited Edition. The other example would be from the Gold W Stamp promos. For Jungle Pikachu in English it was a 1st edition with the Gold W Stamp. For Italian version the Unlimited Pikachu got the W stamp. Was wondering if these cards would be graded since they are slightly different from the English versions.
  21. Impressive that they were able to travel to the future and get them logged in.
