  1. Nothing special you need to fill out, just need to have the cards in the order they request on your submission form and send the form. You will have to pay return shipping on both packages to you.
  2. Some orders just move faster than others once they enter the grading process. Not really a big deal, I had a 4/5 received Walkthrough order and a 4/8 received Walkthrough order that both got finalized/imaged/shipped on 4/14. The 4/5 should have theoretically completed a couple days before the 4/8, but does not really bother me at all as long as things keep moving along.
  3. Bulk with no subgrades (77 card submission) - marked received on 12/18 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 4/16. So took just about 4 calendar months Bulk with subgrades (33 card submission) - marked as received on 12/18 Currently still in scheduled for grading.( so looks like the subgrades taking longer will be impacting older orders)
  4. That sounds right about where it should be. Very often on the Express and Walkthrough orders they go Scheduled to Grading/ Grading/Quality Control, and Finalized/Imaged/Shipped all within a couple days which could still happen and meet the 17 day TaT.
  5. Was WK clearly/boldly Written? My 2 most recent Walkthrough orders were Service: WalkThrough Delivered Date: 4/5/2021 Current Status: Grading/Quality Control (marked as received 4/5 same day as it arrived to CGC via FedEx) Service: WalkThrough Delivered Date: 4/7/2021 Current Status: Grading/Quality Control (marked as received 4/8 the morning after it arrived to CGC via FedEx) I make sure I COVER the box in Bold Black Sharpie WK on top/bottom and all 4 sides.
  6. Being the most expensive courier is all relative to your business and your shipping rates. I had been sending USPS "3 Day Priority" for CGC back in December/January and most packages were actually taking 5-6 business days instead of the 3 Day advertised, it was also costing somewhere around $15 to send in USPS flat rate Priority box. For a box with about 100 cards through FedEx/UPS I can get it there cheaper than USPS and my packages always seem to get logged quickly (I always have some things at WalkThrough or Express tier) Just Pulled up rates right now for the Order I plan on shipping out tomorrow and unless I upgrade to an to overnight/Next Day delivery its cheaper than USPS Priority to go any of the Fed Ex or UPS options (which I'm always sending an amount of cards that is over 1lb so would need to go priority if shipping USPS) FedEx Express Saver (3 business days by 4:30pm) $9.98 FedEx Ground (3 business days no time specificed) $8.90 FedEx 2Day (2 business days by 4:30PM) $12.48 UPS Ground (3 Business Days) $9.46 UPS 2nd Day Air (2 Business Days) $14.31 So I'm sure for many FedEx is not the most expensive courier, for myself its the cheapest for both 3 day and 2 day delivery. But again its based on your business rates, we try to negotiate better rates through our FedEx and UPS account reps several times a year.
  7. There is nothing you are supposed to write on a Standard order box, the purpose of writing on the Express/Walk Through is that those are higher tier expedited services they are trying to locate packages BEFORE opening Standard/Economy/Bulk Tier packages.
  8. Feel this is a good thing, puts all sellers on a level playing field, no reason small time sellers should avoid the cost of doing business that bigger sellers are whacked with.
  9. I have done 3 Walkthrough orders in the past 3 weeks, all of them have been marked as "received" within 24 hours of FedEx delivering them to CGC Trading Cards address.
  10. No, and if you are sending 30 economy you might as well find 20 other cards you consider worth grading as you will pay less for 50 at bulk rate than 30 at economy and its basically the same turn around time.
  11. I feel its about right that Economy and Bulk are similar turnaround times, I consider Economy to be the normal "low tier" and bulk as you get a pricing benefit for submitting 50+ cards at once at lower tier, surely it is less time consuming to open one persons 50 card order and process it than 10 peoples 5 card economy orders. To suggest they "stop grading bulk" for awhile is absolutely ridiculous, its already moving so slow, I got an December 2nd received bulk order back the 2nd week of February, my friend just got a December 8th received order back this week, so they are basically getting through 1 received day of bulk orders per week as it is, they can't just get even more behind on it. Bulk orders have it bad now too, suggesting they just take a break from grading bulk is absurd.
  12. Are you getting the ebay issue where it wont let you pay no matter what? Paypal... doesnt allow you, just switches it back to a CC on file and wont attempt to go through.... then no matter what credit card you use it won't work? Even will get an error when you try to use the ebay bucks gift money... So annoying, I feel the only thing that works is to give it a break from payments and try again later.
  13. As someone who is CONSTANTLY on these boards complaining about turn around times, and your order taking longer than it was supposed too.... I can't believe you really want them to start accepting more different things, leading to more submissions, which is just going to slow things down even more. I hope it is a LONG time before they start accepting Topps cards along with other TCG's.
  14. I also received this email for the first time today as well, still received submissions back as normal this week so not really sure whats up, figure I'll just ignore it and let them charge my card like they have always done in the past.
  15. They probably just told you what you wanted to hear to get you off the phone. You calling and bugging them does not expedite the grading process in any manner.
  16. You are about to be real disappointed if you are expecting a Standard order that was marked as received on 3/24 to arrive back to you before early April....
  17. Same here, my order that arrived to them this week on Friday Morning 3/19 had WK clearly written in sharpie on all sides of the box. By the next day Saturday 3/20 at lunch time it was already in scheduled for grading.
  18. Why would you never use FedEx again? I switched over about 2 months ago to sending only FedEx to CGC as it seemed they have processed the FedEx orders quicker.
  19. It sounds like this must be a case of not following directions. They ask that you write in sharpie on all sides of the package WK, if you are doing this the process seems to work smoothly. I had a package arrive to their address yesterday around 11am. It got marked in their system as received approximately 24 hours later today 3/20. So it sat at their facility for only 1 day, and even got entered in as Received over a weekend. I clearly labeled my box WK in Black Sharpie on the top, bottom and every side so it was easily recognizable as such. The order also has already been scheduled for grading, having shipped it out Thursday Night, I feel pretty good about the speed of walk through being already scheduled for grading less than 48 hours from me dropping it off to send out.
  20. Economy exists for people that want to grade lower valued cards but don't want to send in 50+ cards at a time to get graded. A collector just wanting to grade like 5 or 10 lower valued cards... something like that.
  21. For a reference point on Express currently. I just today 3/17 had my Express submission that arrived at their address and signed for on 3/11 marked in the account as received, so took about a week, I'm not complaining at all, just wanted to let you know that Express are not getting entered same/next day like they had been the past month or so, I'm guessing because they keep getting more and more packages daily.
  22. TCG stands for Trading Card Game. Topps cards are not TCG, they are just TC
  23. That is incorrect if you are going by date marked as received in the system. I had a bulk no subgrades and a bulk with subgrades both logged as received December 2nd. And both have been graded and back in my hands already.
  24. Follow up, that once marked as scheduled for grading, they completed really quickly, both finished and were shipped to me on 2/12 and scheduled to arrive today 2/17.
