    I have started back into the hobby and have bought probably 8 slabs thus far. I received this one today and it looks nothing like any of the others. At first glance I thought it was cracked but it appears to be a type of inner tab of some kind. Is this normal?

    I have a Marvel Tales #1 that at first glance looks to be near perfect. The classic square back $.25 are always tough because of the staples and spine issues. This one looks really nice and back when I bought it (80’s) I unfortunately got enamored with the condition and didn’t take it out of the sleeve. Cover is completely off but somehow remained in near perfect condition. Two questions: 1) What grade would I realistically see from CGC if everything is perfect but the cover isn’t attached? 2) Is this a candidate for some kind of restoration and is it worth it? Thanks in advance folks!
