  9. Why do you call those Canadian Whitman's? Superboy 6 has been known to be less frequent than other books, but I am not sure of the demand as I stopped tracking DC Whitmans a couple years ago.. They look to be in nice shape, so they could do well on ebay.
  10. I have had signatures turned off for years. Forgot I even had one. Still true though.
  11. you know, I should have dug out an old overstreet. Thanks for the thought. I looked it up and it did say what issues were in each volume. Pretty cool randomness. As far as condition, they are as nice as I guess can be for books that were stored in their polybag without any other support. Other books I got from the same collection (coincidentally 30 something other DC's) all had nice white pages.
  12. I like poly-bagged comics. Mostly bronze and copper multi-packs are my thing. I do like the interesting and oddball items too. Last week at the Philly show, RCheli brought this stack of books over to the booth I was helping out at, and handed them to me. I don't do much DC. I know nothing about these books except for what you can see in the scans. They are interesting and cool. Hope this has not been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything. Any insight? Any thoughts? Any discussion?
  13. Went to a flea market today as soon as it opened. I purchased from two different vendors with comics. There were a lot of boxes. Some other guys that started at a different point than I did apparently found some price variants. I am happy with the two I found.
  14. Star Wars, John Carter, and Tarzan seem to be the most common.
  15. Nice book. I wish I could contribute to this thread... Maybe someday
  16. I love/hate this book. For some reason, I seem to have accumulated more copies of this book than any other.
  17. I love those three packs. We discuss all the time whether they are direct market, or whitmans, but they are not price variants.
  18. Thanks again to everyone who looked. I am going to close the thread. If you just missed it or were just late to see it, feel free to send me a PM with offers.
  19. OK, I was going to close this thread, but I really do want some of these items to go to new homes. So, I will leave it open one more day. Until then: All remaining items are 20% off until I close the thread sometime tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!
