  1. +1 When you commit to buy anything on these boards you should have the cash on hand. Not try and think of a way to come up with it after you do the deal. If you don't have it, then discuss some kind of a payment option with the seller through a P.M. only. I think a lot of us at times are short of liquid money and we see something we like. I had to pass on two books I need last night. When I beef up my comic money, I'll go after them. When I buy something, the money is in the mail in a day or so, case closed. No one wants to hear the endless excuses of this or that, after you commit. Don't have the dough, keep you're finger off the trigger. And on a last note, Dale is one of the easiest guys to deal with, on the boards, or at a show. Its that Watson you have to look out for.
  2. I have a lot of other holes to fill in the lower numbers, but it seems that I keep running across lower grade copies that just don't present very well. I've become a little more picky in my old age I guess.
  3. I'm declaring an all out assault on pre-hero books this year for my collection. I hope to nab an Astonish #1 and a #27 later this year.

  11. $650 is chump change for that book. Saw a 9.0 sold this month for $765... It's a great book. And unfortunately one I still need. It keeps going up so I better hurry. I didn't know that book was so hot. I have to go and dig mine out and see what grade it is now.
  12. Eva Dry - Any gun shop has them. I think I saw them a Meijers also. http://www.eva-dry.com/products/eva-dry-500f-mini-dehumidifier/
  13. I have mine bolted down to the concrete too. I used a 3/4" piece of plywood cut to the exact size of the bottom to use as a buffer between the safe bottom and the concrete.
  14. Is like doing an arial dive bomb out of a plane at the beach in 90 degree weather, with no landing mats.
