  1. Don't forget TTA #5 -- that's great Kirby Easter Island cover. I would post my White Mountian copy here if this was'nt a DC Sci-Fi thread! No, I didnt forget the TTA # 5. I have one also. I was actually refering to the shape of these particular stone men as they all looked very similar. I have also been rumaging through my Strange Adventures. I never realized how many issues had talking Gorillas on the cover and in the story. DRX
  2. I hear CGC just hired a few dozen new mods to work around the clock. There's been a huge spike in notifications lately. When did they notify you of that? DRX
  3. That H.O.M. # 85 has been on my buy list for awhile. It reminds me of stone figures on Astonish # 16 and Suspense # 28. Kirby must have had a thing for stone figures back then. DRX
  4. I am getting fired-up looking at these covers. Im going to have to start collecting these again along with HOUSE OF SECRETS. DRX
  5. One more I dug out. I love this cover. DRX
  6. I dont think theres a cover in this whole run that I dont like. My scanner wont take a full slab, and its not slab friendly. Sorry for the second pic. I submitted the # 115 about a year ago. Purchased by me at a local con about 30 years ago. DRX

  9. I'd like to see those responses if you still have them. Those two individuals were and have been nothing but helpful to me when I first became a member here. Why would a seller be mean and nasty when hes trying to sell you something and make new customers. That makes no ing sense. DRX
  10. Prove it Are you calling me out. You wouldnt like me when you call me out. DRX I just reckon you have some ROM in there as well Now that I take as a personal attack. I loved Rom and those pesky Dire Wraiths. DRX

  20. I think I posted this before but wanted to get some opinions. I know its not the best scan as the bottom is slightly cropped. This book is going to CGC for slabbing. Any opinions. Oh, and by the way. I paid $ 30.00 for it about twenty two years ago at a local con in Chicago Heights, Ill. The guy had a giant stack of these pre-hero monster books but I only had enough dough for two or three of them. Times were tough.
