Nice! never seen. So there are at least 4 printing in Turkey now. What year is this marked? I'll have to compare to my other 3.

Eh I don't know about most unique. I collect mostly foreign books so I have a lot of out there things 🤣 definitely a pain. I just hang it from the wall. Next week I'll have the entire killing joke collection up on a wall and will snap some pictures and rattle off where they are all from

How many in your registry set? Once I finally submit all the ones I can it'll be around 50. I only count the actual Killing Joke cover with the camera. I don't count any of the other covers they've used. So closer to 100 for me. Yes, every country has multiple. I have multiples from Mexico, Spain. Japan, Turkey, Nordic countries etc etc. Sorry been 4 years of researching what countries have what. Not really up to just letting that info out there

It was a Japan only cover that was done by Shigeto Koyama. Contains a few issues of Ms Marvel inside. It's a Killing Joke homage so I had to grab it

Did someone say Killing Joke. These are all foreign editions minus some rando US & foreign homage covers & the Mile High freebie. Couldn't fit all the US editions in the picture 🤣 US & Foreign editions total up to over 100 unique printings. I currently have in the 60ish range. Slowly clawing my way to having them all. One day I'll overthrow whoever is king of the registry set for this book ❤️❤️

Assuming higher graded copies cant move for more, sure. Also 9.8s of this book aren't just going to start appearing. You're talking about books from countries that didn't have a massive collector mentality like here in the U.S.

There is a 9.2 copy on the census. I doubt that copy will ever be beat

The title of this post was not accurate. The CGC article states it is the highest value paid for a CGC 6.5 Bronze Age book. Not that it is the most valuable Bronze Age comic.

I had to ask. Normal response to foreigns in here is I oNlY rEaD iN eNgLiSh. Its an amazing piece of international comic history. To think another country deviated from Marvel when Gwen Stacy was supposed to die and kept her alive. Never been reprinted snywhere. Not sure anyone even knows if La Prensa ever actually got permission to do these non canon stories. It's a coveted piece. Very hard to find in higher grades. Most who have this issue will never sell it so it will rarely pop up on the market even as the value climbs. Only 7 copies on the CGC census. This being the 3rd highest.

Someone collects international comics and that equals they hate America? When this thread seems to be trying to downplay anything not printed in english that is elitist. Also another stupid counter arguement made to an actual legit response of someone in here who can appreciate materials from around the world. Really no wonder CGC forums are dying. Agreed 120%. I would say 99% of the people who own a copy aren't looking to cash in. Some wild comments in this thread. Peoole get reall uoset about books they don't own. Pretty trivial. Can't be happy. I don't own it 🤣

I don't own this book & believe it being non cannon is pretty wild & plays an interesting part in Spider-Mans mythos from another country. Do you feel this way about ASM1 & AF15 or do you own those? Asking for a friend

I might be able to afford a copy after the Heritage Foreign only auction 🤣 that is now my only hope! Killer sale and glad to see foreigns getting the recognition they need. Back to back record setting sales
