Ok, thanks for the grades. I'm surprised at the 7-8 range. I had given it a 5.5 with the color-breaking crease, which made me think about a color touch-up resto. A possible 8 with a press makes it worth slabbing. Thanks again.

Just the name "Sad Sack" is hilarious and they would look great mounted and hanging on a wall, too. I'd laugh every time I walked by them.

It is a cool book, and I may get it slabbed in case overall demand increases in the future and so I can hang it on the wall during the holidays. Value wise it's a wash (at best) right now to do so. I'm new to estimating grades of books, so I was hoping for better than 6-7. The rarity thing was a new guy's attempt at humor.

Thanks for the grades! If I submit it for grading I'll have the only CGC graded copy in the 6-7 range, which would make it a very rare book.

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the responses! Yeah, definitely not a Kubrick sig. Random marks or inventory marks certainly a possibility. Unfortunately, a defaced Rima in otherwise super condition. I'm gonna hang her on a wall anyway, because the cover art is still pretty awesome looking.

Thank you. I'll remove the plastic. I'm kind of curious to take a look inside.

Hi. I have a beautiful copy of Rima #1 with scrawling on the front cover. I am perplexed as to how a book could be so well preserved and yet somehow someone was allowed to mark up the cover, so I thought it may be a signature. I acquired the book at a yard sale 30 years ago, put it in a box and recently took a look at it. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I'm thinking about sending in Black Kiss 8 and 9 for grading. As they are now the books are sealed in manufacturer's plastic, due to the graphic content. If I submit the books for grading, should I remove the plastic prior to shipping? Thank you.
