PGM Captain America #100

Wow this is a gorgeous copy. I would say this is absolutely worth getting graded. No staining or discoloration that I can see. Colors are really nice. Some ticks front and back. Bottom right front corner is obviously the worst exterior flaw. I’d love to see a couple interior photos, especially the center fold. Assuming the cover is tight and there’s no evidence of rusting and the book is complete, this falls in the high end of VF for me (8.5+). -

PGM The Punisher #1 1985 Newstand

I’m at a 9.0 right now. A C&P should get out all the ticks (I don’t see any color break). An experienced presser should be able to get the indent out with a steel ball. Top edge should clean up somewhat as well You should be able to pull a 9.4 when it’s all done. 9.6 is certainly possible depending on how good your presser is. -

The back cover could certainly use a clean. What’s more concerning is the staples look to be rusted. Do you have photo of the center fold? If there’s any rust migration into the paper you’d be looking at a 7.0 at best. -

Hey All, Up for your critique is the latest addition to my ASM collection. There is slight discoloration across the top front cover. Cover is well attached at both staples. Some color rub/light scratches on the back cover. Thanks for taking a look!

Hey all. Thanks in advance. Picked this up today and was wondering your thoughts. I think the back in particular would benefit from a C&P. At first I thought there was a tear on the lower back cover, but it’s a crease.

PGM Y the Last Man 1

Yes, there is a crease up there. I had considered getting it pressed to get those two creases out, but the more I think about it, I’m not sure it will impact the grade. -
Hey All Hoping to get your opinion on this copy of Y the Last Man 1. I think the front cover is in nice shape. Bottom right corner has a small bend and the top has a depression. Back cover is where the issues lie. There is a horizontal color break ~1inch ( it’s from the spine through the A in the word army. It doesn’t show up that well in the picture) and there’s ~2 inches of color rub at the bottom on the spine side. Not really sure how much of a grade hit it takes because of that. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback all. I think I’ll send it for a press and sub. I’ll update when it comes back in. -
