I used the promotional 15% off coupon towards the purchase of this huge (28.5" x 11.5") centerspread piece by Mike Nasser featuring Werewolf by Night vs. Spider-Man. It was published in Super Spider-Man #173 (Marvel UK, 1976). The images below are the original art, published centerspread and the published cover.
Here's what Mike said about the piece: “With the landscape printing format, a double page spread has the same area as a double-page portrait format ...but because of the long double width, it feels a lot larger. While doing this, Rick Bryant visited the studio and gave some pointers as to how to create the stipple effect with a toothbrush. Good to see it's in good hands!”

Yup, I would agree. I have not won any of them, been the underbidder on half a dozen or so.
eBay seller is doing great. Kudos to them. But after eBay sales things are not always so rosy. This Batman #367 page with Poison Ivy recently sold on Clink for $600:
Previously sold on eBay for $790 in October of last year. #flipfail
And another Netwon/Alcala page coming to Clink, very nice Batman #371 page with Batman vs. Catman. Sold on eBay last Septmber for $1,363. Will be interesting to see how this one does.

CAPTAIN AMERICA ANNUAL #5 PAGE 41 - The Auction Has Ended
1981, Cap Battles a Golden ShowerGolden Shower is rumored to be the major villain in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. This pumped up sales price as a future investment.

Sold in the February 2018 HA Signature for $549.70Now on eBay, with not nearly as nice a scan/photo, for $1350 OBO.

Cool to see stuff like this hit the market. Nice covers and interesting, offbeat characters. I wonder if the winner of the SO cover thought they would end up paying over $6K after dropping a strong bid in the closing moments? Guess so. Win big or go home!

I tried to bid on that page but all i did was help move that bid up. I still love this but wow that price seems nuts.
The price per Alcala line isn't bad. That's one way of looking at it.

No comments on the 480k price tag of the ASM #100 cover?
Clearly a premium for Kingpin's head coming out of Spidey's butt. Now you'll never be able to unsee that!

Surprised the Jim Lee What If #13 cover didn't even hit $15k. That sold for $3k in 2003. Figured it would go a ways higher.
Sounds like a great cover commission idea for Jim Lee: "What If Jim Lee's What If #13 cover hit $15K?"

A bit surprised the Avengers #52 page went for as high as $12k. Nice page but that's probably a record for a non-splash from that period of JB Avengers (other than Avengers #57-#58)
The Black Panther effect. Well timed consignment!

Hi,
Interested in finding some nice pages featuring Talia al Ghul. Would love a nice panel page from the 70s or 80s, but modern pages interest me too.
