Well, technically the Paypal jurisdiction was long over with and he could have just left it alone....but he PM'd me after reading the thread and made good, though he wasn't legally obliged to do so in PayPals eyes :shrug:

Comic Supply ($300 of books) - Books arrived today. Almost a year to the day after I ordered them. mjacobs8 ($145 of books) - Won my dispute, no funds in his PayPal account so I am mess out of luck. Anyone who believes that PayPal offers buyer protection is nieve (like I was). Only your credit card company can give you any protection. Filter81 ($950 book) - Book arrived last week as already discussed. I guess that 2 of 3 ain't bad. Mike I went by Michael's house twice since people first started posting what had happened. Both times there was no answer at his door. I inquired to the apartment management as to whether or not he still lived there, but they refused to disclose any information. In addition. I have tried to call him at LEAST 20 times, left a message and a text, and have yet to hear back from him. I tried guys BTW Russ PM'd me and has made good with me (after almost a year - which surprised me that he honored the transaction after all this time) So ComicSupply is off my spoonlist... Thomas

Both with a similar miswrap There are dupes of #42 as well. I would venture to guess there were 2-3 copies of each book and will continue to be leaked out over the next few auctions...

Firstly, another huge thank you to everybody who has posted here and sent me PMs...the support has been overwhelming and the practical assistance from a few of you (you know who you are) has been utterly astonishing. One of you has worked with me on a rather large deal that has helped me unbelievably. I don't usually do this (and in fact have never done it before), but 31 of the Spidey slabs have gone in this deal. I hope that the rest of you understand...this wasn't an attempt to attract off-Marketplace interest...but one of you jumped in and put something on the table that, in my current circumstances, I simply could not turn down. That being said, I still have 34 slabbed Spideys to shift and, if I can stay connected to the Boards for more than 10 minutes , I'll be throwing up the details later today. It means they froocked over so many buyers, that resolution is impossible to even do the accounting for. Wow, then Comicsupply definitely belongs on that list, I would think. Do I hear a second to the nomination? I think it's nuts to even have comicsupply on this list - we're not talking about board member to board member transactions here, we're talking about people who made a purchase on a commercial website (that has absolutely nothing to do with the CGC boards). What's next? Can I get Mile High Comics on the list because the only time I purchased from them they sent me a bunch of overgraded books & refused to give me a refund? Or the ebay seller that stiffed me for $25 last year? I second the nomination BTW ComicSupply IS a member of the Boards, and the transaction/deal he failed to follow through with me with was made via PMs on these Boards. When people were dogging him out on the Boards in the past and I stuck up for him, he used to PM me, especially during the Hotflips/CS war that went on. I showed loyalty and support and he basically ripped me off of my measley $25...NOT much money, but it's the principle I second the nomination AND give the finger!

Mike, ComicSupply stiffed me $26 last year which is a drop in the bucket comapred to your $300 I am trying tofind out where mjacobs8 is. I went by his house and he wasn't home. Tried to find out from the apartment management if he still lived there but they wouldn't divulge me any info As far as Adam goes, it's still under 30 days (close but still under) and he is at NYCC. Send him another PM (with a new topic) about it and I'm sure he will get back to you within the week

ok ok tonight i'm signing up. How long does it take for me to get the certificates in the mail? A couple of weeks. You get a packet with submission forms, a neato pin , and your three freebies for submission. You will be given a number. You can log on to Collectors-society and keep track of all your submissions. They sent me a renewal email for my membership. It seems they have an "Elite" Membership package available.for $229...Anyone know what that's about?

I checked out the thread but couldn't find the books. Too many useless, time wasting, run of the mill graemlins jamming up the thread.
