  3. I understand that the Tiny Onion Club members get the cool gold foil variants from time to time, but what is the deal with the silver foil versions of those covers?  Are the silver ones give aways too? Are they more or less scarce?

See below W0rldtr33 #1.  The silver edition does say Scott's Collectibles and Tiny Onion, but it is not on their website.

Answer:  The Silver Foil is the Las Vegas Con Exclusive.

    Thanks!

Oasas has been selling at cons only for awhile now. Should have these at Megacon but I can verify. I know he got a decent amount of CGC SS back within the last week.

Some of these variants get confusing.  Why would OASAS pay for a variant cover on a mini-series then sit on them for 6 months until after the whole series is finished?  On the other hand, why would Image just print a few for the employees and scrap an OASAS variant?  Neither option seems very plausible.

  5. Primordial #2 Jae Lee.  Was supposed to be released by OASAS, but it seems only a few employee copies exist.  Any additional info would be appreciated.

    NM 9.4-9.8

    $100 OBO.

  7. So some of you know I get some crazy Image variants from time to time, but this is a weird one.  Read the story below.

Pre Pub had gone to the printer, I know of one other copy sold on eBay by an Image employee that had no idea what he had.

    Asking $750  $500 OBO.

The comic is NM 9.4 to 9.8.

Payment is via Paypal.  Everything we sell is guaranteed 100%, returns are fine.

I’ll just take the money…period.  Then, I can buy a :censored:load of low grade unique and/or signed comics.  While other people are spending a fortune on high-priced ‘keys’, I’ll be buying cool stuff that I’ll want to look at everyday.  And I’ll still have money left over to pay bills. lol

Fair enough!  But, you didn't exactly answer the question.  If you could choose one of the Action Comics #33s and one of the #87s (without having to pay for them) which would you choose?  Even if your only intention was to sell them, which one would you pick?

Of course given the choice between a 9.6 or 9.8 in a world where I have an infinite cash flow I'm definitely going with the 9.8. But realistically a 100k price discrepancy for a .2 grade bump isn't justifiable imo. As for pedigrees I don't care much unless it's from the Mile High Collection simply because of how widely known that collection was.

If you could add one to your collection for free, you would choose the Mile High Action #87 in 9.0 over the 9.4 Crowley copy?  Many people might do so. The Promise Collection 8.0 sold for over 3k. I am not sure the Crowley copy or the Mile High would have gone for more.
