  1. How will I know they are marked "received?" Will that also be noted on the submission page? Thank you for the clarification.
  2. I have submitted comics for the first time and was told by CGC that they have been delivered to them. Great! I know they are behind and have only been able to get to submissions from Jan 25th. When can I expect to see updates on the submission tracking page and why do I see this message when I put my submission # in?: "Order # not found. Please note that you can only search for submissions older than 8 months by submission number." ???? I was told by CGC that the number you submit for updates is the one under the barcode on your invoice. I realize that I am checking too early, but why does it say "submissions older than 8 months." I am a little more than confused. Anyone know what the heck I am talking about?
  3. Luckily none of my comics smells like vinegar; just that old slightly musty smell....no mildew is evident either. Thanks again for all the input. Really enjoyed reading your answers.
  4. I am new to this and planning on sending some comics for grading. I have attached pics of a 1957 Superman #116, a 1964 Batman #164, a 1964 Action Comics #312, and a 1967 Gold Key Star Trek. Are these worth submitting for grading? They are really clean covers and backs, but there is some tanning on the pages. No rips, tears, or markings that I can see. Thank you for any help you can provide.
  5. Wow! Thank you so much for that helpful information. I will try that with some nicer issues I have of others. Thanks again.
  6. Thank you. I figured I would go in with the value and if they were worth more they would charge me the difference. Isn't that how it works? Sorry, but I am so new at this.

  8. Thank you. I really appreciate the information. Figures that I would have 243...so close, yet so far.
  9. I have #248 that is taped, #243 that has a small crease and a small tear, and a 312 that is pretty nice.
  10. Thanks. Luckily, I have some nicer ones I will be sending. I thought they would be between $24.30 and $34.20 a piece. What is the $60.00 for?
  11. I am new to this and planning on sending some comics for grading and have 3 questions. (1) I Have a 1958 Action Comic featuring Superman with scotch tape on the outside and inside of the front cover. Is it worth grading? (2) I have attached photos of a Star Trek Gold Key #2, which has some writing on the cover with a Sharpie and which bled through to the inside of the cover. Is that worth grading? (3) The comics I am sending have a musty smell. Does that affect the value? Thanks for anyone who can help answer my questions.
