  1. I have one more of these. Pep #28, June 1942 Archie #16, Sept - Oct 1945
  2. I've got an Australian Archie comic from the 50's that uses the cover art from an issue of Ginger but replaces Ginger's and her boyfriend's heads with Archie's and Betty's. I'll have to dig those two issues out. Please do! Here's another pair Pep #27 May 1942 Archie #18 Jan-Feb 1946
  3. Jackpot Comics #7, Fall 1942 Archie #19, March-April 1946
  4. Here's another fun comparison! Archie #1, Winter 1942 less than three years later Wilbur #5, Summer 1945
  5. I had no idea there were that many Archies!! How long have you been collecting? One of the members on my Archie Comics board has about 1700 and I thought that was ridiculous! Theres 1,854 digest alone and I never collected the Katy Keene or TMNT digest! The 6,426 comics does include 52 issues of That Wilkin Boy, 52 of Suzie and 90 issues of Wilbur, (and some other smaller runs, like Cosmo the Merry Martian) but no Katy Keene, no Superheroes, no Hedgehogs, no turtles (I do have some of these but only when Archie &/or the Gang appear in them and they are not included in that total. The numbers I really watch now is I need 5 digest to upgrade to all VG or better. 17 fair and and 138 good to upgrade all 25 cent cover and earlier comics to at least VG 1 good and 77 VG to upgrade all 30 cent cover and later to at least FINE So a total upgrade list of 238 comics and digest. I also need 7 Top-Notch and 25 Zip to get all the early appearnces of Suzie and Wilbur (but I haven't been trying to hard on those). Hows that for being a total Archie geek?
  6. Nice deductive work! I forgot they listed the story title there! I used to have an Adams index that listed the titles. While yes it wasn't very good its easy to spot. He was just a teen, and he did get much better! Here's another page just for fun.
  7. Any guesses out there on the artist of this page?
  8. 8,280 all Archie comics & digests, no duplicates and doesn't count foriegn language editions.
  9. Here are the links to the scans of the ones I bought the other day... I couldn't get the links to work!
  10. Here's my last copied covers! I knew there were a few, but didn't realize there were this many until I went looking. I know theres a least one more I didn't match up and theres probably others. I know theres at least a couple of completely redrawn stories from the same time periods, I'll have to hunt down one of those soon, but I got a couple other things planned for next....
  11. Those UK Annuals are cool! The covers an easy match, here's both...
  12. I've posted this before, in the "favorite Archie covers" thread but it really belongs here. Its Archie #47 with a new cover. The inside of the fc functions as a program, the inside of the bc & the bc are like the front, Archie characters saying join us..
  13. thanks, I'm running low on duplicated cover jokes, though, but I'll find more cool stuff to show off! 1952
  14. 1957 Mexico, for some reason, changed the kissing cover and turned into Archie and Veronica enjoying dessert together. Notice how the artwork was extended at the bottom of the comic also. most noticable in Miss Grundy's dress. thanks for posting that, very cool to compare! Now you got me thinking about looking through my foriegn Archies.... 1950
