I didn't realize instantly putting your card in a sleeve after opening a pack will perfectly center your card, smooth your edges, and fix any surface errors! Amazing! How is CGC not aware of this?

As someone who QA's and supports the product that my developers push out, I disagree. All too often I see developers half-azz things to the point where their customer service reps have to take it in the neck for something their developers didn't have time to troubleshoot and forced out, or didn't take time to foresee and pushed out a half assed product. Given that their customer service reps are probably already getting it in the neck and have been the past 1.5 years, I'm sure they would appreciate a smoother release rather than a rocky one that you patch up. Rushed work equals shoddy work.
Yeah no offense to the original comment, but 15+ years in any field doesn't mean anything. You could be one of the worst developers ever and you can still survive in this industry. I'm not commenting on your skills, but you get my point.
From what I've gathered, CGC's dev team (which is pretty small from what I've read here) seems to handle their development, testing, release, and maintenance of their entire infrastructure so it's understandable that it's taking longer than expected. Furthermore, releasing a population report tool with bad data isn't the same as releasing day 0 features with a few bugs. Any erroneous data may have a large effect on the graded card market with respect to CGC (and even other companies) so I think it's the right decision to get this right coming out the door. -
You should be able to get the negative feedback resolved, offer them a refund and go from there. In my personal opinion the buyer got what was in the listing (albeit missing a "mislabeled" tag), but if they refuse a refund (for whatever reason) and are keen on leaving negative feedback you need to notify CS.

and you can't get a pristine 10 without 10 centering, at least last I checked in their FAQ

It most likely will. You can already query a card by it's cert number so I really don't see why they wouldn't support that. Might take a while to backfill all previously graded cards.

USPS is delayed badly right now. My CGC grading is finally done, and I am anxious to get the shipment back. It shipped friday 2/19. It updated twice, from Sarasota to Tampa, then stopped. Other cards I got off Ebay are delayed / not updating either. Idk what's going on but its extremely frustrating when you have thousands of dollars of value in the mail being held up.
Same here, shipped on the 17th and yet to receive updates. A little glad that I'm not the only one, but still nerve wracking not knowing exactly where those cards are.

The 'Shop Now' button is nice, but for Pokemon that have multiple cards/variations in the set it's not as accurate because the card number is not passed to the eBay search query. Is this something that could be done?
