  1. Very nice book indeed.Judging from the notes on the label the resto might be very easy to live with, especially with off white untouched pages.
  2. Simply outstanding Rick! I can't wait until you upgrade the few remaining purlple labels.
  3. Thanks everyone for the kind words.A few of us "geeks" have been getting together for years because sharing is what it's all about.Plus it helps curb the depression I get when I balance my checkbook
  4. that group shot would have another book or two in it if not for his losses to me on that very pool table. no big loss for the boards tho', as it does add to my own group shots. So true...It is a bitter pill when you scratch on the eightball and have to turn over a Silver Streak 12
  5. Sure is.Have you ever seen the splash?
  6. OK I'll contribute a few of my favorites.I took this pic a while(with old crappy camera)ago.I still have all of them in my coffer, with the exception of 3 Adventures. Most notably the 40 which now rests in the Ciorac collection.
  7. Hey, I know which drawer he keeps the baker's dozen in. PM me for details..
  8. Anyone thinking of attending Bill's Pons-con next year should know that he demands a golden age key book priced at or UNDER guide for his collection in order to open the gates to his palatial estate. Seriously Bill,I'm glad the book found a good home.
  9. I hear you,Mr. Berk is a tough act to follow, but I'm glad you did.I've become smitten with the MM run recently, and the 4 is one of the best IMHO.Just one more book to add to my already extensive want list.
  10. Nice AS 2,definitely one of my favorites also.I've always thought that AS 1 & 2 are some of Timely's best book ends.Right up there with Torch 12 &13.
