Hi, I'm going to a show next week that CGC is attending and have 2 slabs that I'd like to reholder. Already filled out the submission form online. Do I just bring the packing slip and the 2 slabs and hand them in at the booth?

Nope. They are sending back a revised label so I didn't have any further concerns.

Hi, just got this CGC slab from eBay today. Noticed the plastic in the 4 corners looked a bit different from usual. Is this normal? It is an older holder. Does squeak when I push on the right side of the case as well. Graded date is 03/04/2015. Top: Bottom: Side: Other side: Comparison to another CGC:

They said the book is correct, but somehow the label got swapped. They're sending it back with a corrected label. Not sure if they will need to use a different certification number or not, will find out when I receive it.

They said they will review and figure out what is going on and backtrack to where the mix up may have occurred. I think it just means they are looking into it.

To update on the situation, I've sent the book back today as mechanical error, and CGC will review and see if they can locate the correct book. I just realized tonight that I forgot to write ME on the sides of the box for mechanical error, so there might be some delay in sorting when CGC receives it.

EDIT: CGC says label was swapped, returned it and was able to get book back with the correct label Has anyone had their submission swapped with someone else's before? Recently sent in a 9.8 for the now-cancelled George Perez signing. I received back a 9.6. At first I thought maybe it was graded down, but I noticed it had a custom label which I didn't request, and also the certification number did not match what I had sent in. I sent in #3866595021 9.8 Graded 09/14/2021 I received #1448498005 9.6 Graded 09/28/2017 I have contacted CGC via email on Saturday, no response yet. Not sure what can be done to rectify this if the comic I submitted was already sent out to another person.

Got my shipment but am wondering if I got the wrong book back. It came with George Perez label which I did not request, grade dropped from 9.8 to 9.6, and serial number is different. I sent in #3866595021 graded in 2021 and they sent me back #1448498005 graded in 2017... EDIT: Returned the book to CGC and they were able to resolve the issue.

Just got a $94 charge from CGC. I'm assuming it was for this signing since I haven't sent in anything else.
