  1. kinda bored, so i thought i'd re-share some of my Cap books with multiple sigs: Waid and Garney: Waid, Garney and Eaglesham: Waid, Kubert and Eaglesham:
  2. i gotta ask, the issue or the cover?? I actually like this cover way better than the variant but I love the series. Hate to see cassaday go. i agree. it's a great series. It is too bad that Cassady's gone after the next issue, but hopefully we'll see more of his artwork on a regular basis sometime soon.
  3. When I first saw this one, I asked Anthony where the sketch was , I thought it was the actual cover. A really super tight drawing that looks printed...one of the best 'sketches' (if you could call it that) I have seen on a book... that's what i thought too!
  4. it just makes you really think about whether or not it's worth it to you to crack it.
  5. nice books Ares! i really like the cover to that DD 257
  6. kudos goes out to jonjesper for the Fallen Son sketch cover by Ethan Van Sciver and the Marvel Zombies #2 CGC SS that he sold me. thanks buddy!
  7. this one is really really cool! you got him to sign his own file copy!
  8. these two books are the only ss books for each issue, and they're also sketched on: - hard to believe there's no other ss copies for #22
  9. some seriously sweet books. this thread is turning into what i hoped it would!
  10. this is sort of a repost from the infinite signature thread. the 2nd print is the lone 9.8 ss book on the census. there is also one 9.4 i think. for the first printing, there is one other 9.8 book. i just didnt want to take another pic, or crop and then upload again.
  11. To get the ball rolling, here are a couple of mine: highest ss copy AlexH told me that the other SS copy is actually damaged, he just never sent in the label only ss copy let's see yours!
  12. I thought I would start a thread that would try and capture one of the really awesome things about doing signature series books. There are often opporunities to get one-of-a-kind books signed and graded. So here are the rules for posting books in this thread: 1. The book must be the only Signature Series book for that particular issue on the census 2. You may post your book if there are other SS copies on the census only if your copy is the highest and only graded copy. So if there are a couple SS 9.4's and you have the only SS 9.8, then you could post it here. 3. Please refrain from posting signed and sketched books as we all know that type of thing is one of a kind, plus there's another thread for that 3a. You may post a SS signed and sketched book if it is the only SS book, or single highest graded SS book. I think this would be a really cool way to see all the "one of a kind" ss books out there!
  13. What is the story on that CA book?Is it a varient or what? D it's not a variant, but it, along with a couple other issues in the series are really tough to find in high grade, because they're so scarce to begin with. as the series is getting more and more popular, back issues are becoming even scarcer than they already were to find.
  14. picked this up this past weekend off of comicfreak: great series. and some tough to find books in gradeable condition. the #2 goes really nice with my #1's : i would even consider cracking all of them for Aja's signature if the opportunity ever arose.
  15. picked this up from comicfreak at the one day show on this past Sunday. a very tough modern to find, and even tougher to find in gradeable condition. i'm definately going to submit it for my run
  16. it's not to say that Frank is a bad name. i guess it's just peculiar that he would go with a name that can be reversed for that phrase, "Quite Frankly". i wonder if there's any significance for his choosing it. and i wonder what comic he was worried would offend his family?
