A couple of recent pickup from @Dr. Balls I have been looking for a nice copy of Rocket to the Moon for about a year. This looks great for the grade. Not a title I normally collect, but you can't go wrong with this cover.

While I was in college I worked for a local bank. One day out of the blue one of the VPs just resigned, it was sudden and no one at the low level knew why. 30 years later I am working in IT at a local credit union, one of the senior VPs at the CU worked at the local bank and knew the story. The guy was embezzling company funds. I don't remember the actual amount but it was up there. The bank figured it was better to just have him resign and maybe pay some of it back and not get the courts involved. The publicity of the theft would have cost more than the actual amount lost. So maybe the state did catch the kid, but was so embarrassed at how easy it was and the lack of security they just didn't want the public to see it.

The True Vison copies always seem to be in low grade, most likely due to most of them having black boarder covers.

Continuing to try and complete some runs here. With Spidy 119 I just need 105 to complete the 100 to 300 issue run. Detective 400 - 600 has a way to go. Adventures into the Unknown is just cool. Of course at the rate I'm going it will turn into a title run of some sort.

It’s still my favorite version of Justice League but I’m biased since it’s what I grew up with.

I remember getting these at Walden Books at the mall. It took about 6 months before I had any clue what was going on in the X-men book. it was also nice to start reading Iron Man while he had his coolest armor.
