Very tough book to find in high grade

Definately one the the coolest threads in the forums. I think Horror fans are very loyal but not alot out there. These books have definately been undervalued for a long time and their time will shine soon. Growing up I loved picking up DC horror books but having a younger brother around who was easily spooked, well needless to say mom and dad used to toss my books unless I hid them. As I have been trying to buy more and more lately, I realize how tough they are to find in higher grades. I would like to post a few of mine, my apologies if they were already posted.

Sterling, your collection ROCKS! Yeah, that book/scan looks so good that it is almost 3-D. That ghoul must be popping out of the painting and cover. Very familiar

Boston Copy

Oh yeah, Batman #244 from a buddy of mine for $40. Looks like a NM except for some small invisable creases, maybe pressing candidate

I know , still kicking myself over that one. The one from Metro should be here anyday. As for CL, its a clusterf.. in there, so I just avoid it.

They do have great page quality, no doubt. The one I passed on a while back was truly awesome, it looked to be in 9.4/9.6 grade and he was asking $250

Picked this up at my LCS for $50, came back from Florida at a 9.0

Metros, I still kick myself for not picking up Bacheras raw copie awhile back at the Boston show, and picking up Superman 233 Boston copy instead.

Definately cool to see non super-heroe pedigrees.
