1.5 years ago I had to appear as witness in a criminal trial against HW Uthe in Hameln. I wished I had taken a picture, because he was guided by a prison officer and he was wearing metal ankle shackles, which made enormous noise on the floor. Half a year later this case was stayed because of more serious cases against him. The latter were probably the reason for his 10 month arrest in jail. The tax authorities also had objections. I lost several comics, the money I paid for them and the time I had to spend for the travel to Hameln and back. But Hameln is a nice city! Watch bergamoy1: he is getting very active in Ebay!

Thanks all members in this forum for working on the mentioned ebay accounts of fw uthe. His accounts are closed quicker than ever and that is a fine result. To hunt him down there is still one important thing to do. The german law enforcement authority (staatsanwaltschaft) needs more concrete hints. If they get them, they can accuse him as a commercial and enduring offender. This will make a important difference for the penalty. Yes, today I read the text independently, because a friend of mine (the German lawyer) has become an active member of the Karl May forum to find other customers of Uthe, who are interested to sue him. The overall information is that many people over 30 years now tried to stop Uthe's activities, however with only little success. This is partly due to the German laws and partly due to missing civil courage. Here and then he is brought to psychiatry but sent home after a few weeks (there are many more serious cases that need to be taken care of). One commercial collector argues that we should just pity Uthe, because he is in a similar situation as was Karl May then. He also thinks that any official accuse is not worth the time. However, my friend will continue and hopes to find other betrayed customers.
