  1. the film had an art and graphics team. If using AI to get the one interstitial image was their decision, and made in order to keep an artist working on something more important, it makes perfect sense. It is a tool. if the art department uses a tool to stay within budget/work on something more important, it makes perfect sense. If corporate suits demand using AI to replace hiring an art team, that is a problem.

that being said, good movie. enjoyed it alot.

Almost no one who consigns on Heritage pays full boat.  At a minimum, you should be able to negotiate away the 10% seller fee.

10% is already a discount. Last i checked it starts at 15%

Alex Johnson has a really good list of how to value your art.  It's pinned on the boards here somewhere.  Sandman has been on a roll recently on Heritage, with earlier pages bringing from around $2K to astronomical numbers.  There are two Zulli pages with the new Sandman coming up for auction on March 14, which should give you a solid idea.  Pluses to this page - Title page and its the original series.  Zulu's pencils are always beautiful.  However, it is later in the run, it's a set up shot, and there are no characters or dialog. (It is a beautiful page, though).  My guess, would be in the 2-3K range.

I dont know if those pages will be a good barometer since they are coming from Neil Gaiman's Personal collection.

I feel like the New Dimensions foils are actually a lot similar to the C2E2 books except for the shady market manipulation side plot. And, at least initially, they both were blue-label eligible. The C2E2 tomfoolery probably won't be the last time a third party company uses existing books they didn't originally produce or contract for in order to manufacture a new collectible. Obviously, individual collectors can care, or not, as they desire. But what do we want CGC to do with these sorts of things?

I see the similarity, but i think the difference is that new dimension made the books available to retailers through traditional distribution channels (diamond...was capital city still around?), so they are considered more traditionally "published"(?) u guess. Also they had been accepted variant products for years before CGC existed, so CGC didnt so much have to make a judgment on them, as they were already accepted by the hobby.
