  1. WW 2 on a more obscure title to WW 2 on a more obscure title.
  2. Ant-Man becomes Giant-Man to Ant-Man becomes an Avenger.
  3. It felt like a really forgotten title up until about a year or two ago. I wish I'd have bought more high-grade issues back then!!! I bought some for sure, but I could've bought more but didn't think there was a need for speed. Bet the wrong horse on THAT one!!!
  4. Thanks! I've been picking them up when I see them, wherever I see them, so yes, some from eBay, some in person at shows.
  5. Tough choice, as I really like both! I got it! . This could've been the first comic to have a variant cover!!!
  6. We're fishing in the same pond!!! The Doctor Strange portion of Strange Tales is one of my favorite sort of "lesser appreciated" gems! Ditko has a GREAT run and then it gets handed off to Bill Everett for a number of issues before hitting Marie Severin's desk! The Nick Fury stories have always been entertaining enough, always solid stories and artwork (noticably different when Jim Steranko shows up), but it's the Doc stories and covers that have me seeking them out!!!
  7. Nice one! I honestly don't think that I've ever seen this book in person, either at a show or a comic shop. I really like this cover!
  8. JIM #56 La Prensa Pub. Plus a splash page ... just for extra fun!!!
  9. What a fresh looking copy!!! I can see why you'd want to get your hands on it!!! SO bright and colorful, well done!!!
  10. That's a pretty dazzling display of rarity right there Steven!!! I love them all, but I think Schomburg's inventive cover image on USA #8 and Syd Shores going above and BEYOND to give what is my favorite of his covers on USA #11, those two are the ones I could just stare at for a long time, of the ones you just posted. Not a weak cover in the bunch!!!
  11. It's my favorite of the 4-issue run! #11 is probably second. I guess I dig the green logo banner look! Nice copy btw!!!
  12. Maybe you'll bump into Kirby in the afterlife, and he'll tell ya all about it!
  13. Journey into Unknown Worlds #55 La Prensa Pub.
  14. Like most of this era in the JIM run, I really like this issue!
  15. And SOMEHOW, I forgot this on day 45, but since others back fill a little, so shall I. Ok, I'll throw in an inside front cover pic. That alone is worth taking a peek at!!!
  16. This Mexican copy suffers from the same cover image. Maybe the inside cover will be cooler ...
  17. I've always found the lettering to be superb on this issue! Makes the rest of the cover easier to ignore ...
