  4. JIM #46 La Prensa File Copy with registration form attached.
  5. Killer books as usual Rick and VERY cool that you remember the particulars from when you bought them!
  6. Indeed ... and no label notation for color touch
  7. Yup, that's what I'm seeing too! And a pair of awesome issues they are!!!
  8. Incomplete Superman to incomplete Superman. (Sorry, I couldn't resist!!!)
  9. What source are you getting your information from? Just going by Mike's Amazing World of Comics (might be accurate, might not, I'm not sure), that site has Strange Tales annual #2 on sale the same date as Amazing Spider-Man #4, both listed as June 11th, 1963, while it has FF annual #1 on sale at July 2nd 1963. I agree that the Strange Tales annual #2 appearance would likely be either the 5th or 6th Spidey appearance (depending on which came first, Spidey #4 or ST annual #2), but not because of FF annual #1 in any way.
  10. An interesting bit of history is that it was Steve that gave Marvel it's unifying symbol, the Marvel Comics Group 12c corner box, which he drew on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #2 cover dated May 1963. Due to the publishing schedule, the corner box actually appeared a little before Spidey #2 hit the stands, with the April cover dated Journey into Mystery #91 and Patsy Walker #106. Soon the entire line would follow to create a unified newsstand appearance. Below is my Marvel copy of Amazing Spider-Man #2 and my La Prensa Mexican copy as well. I have to admit, as much as I love the corner box, I really love the logo webbing holdover from Spidey #1.
  11. Well, at least we know it's not the Catechetical Guild variant!!!
  12. The very first time Ditko's co-creation Doctor Strange appears on a cover!
  13. Steve's having moved around to several publishers gave us a lot of interesting work to choose from. Obviously, SOME of his comics are quite expensive, while others remain very affordable, giving the Ditko fan on the tightest of budgets an opportunity to still participate in collecting!
  14. I agree and yeah, that WOULD be an awesome scent!!! Maybe they could make a special label notation for that!
  15. Awesome cover Billy Boy and a tougher pedigree to boot!!!
  16. Am I the only one happy it smells like maple syrup? 🧇🥞
