I only bid lukewarm on this #5 and now I'm glad I did! I think I was the direct under bidder but very half-heartedly, even still though, sorry I made it more expensive for ya Lou.

I've passed on several 9.8s and a ped or two that just wasn't as white as my copy, so I just decided this'un will have to do.

Spectre is awesome, especially the More Fun covers! Kudos for having almost all of his Silver Age series!!

This is SUCH a great Schomburg cover that I feel is a little bit overlooked due to the 26-28 trio that precedes it (I also think #29 is overlooked). This is one of a very few Cap covers where a woman is in peril and in need of rescue (typically that role goes to Bucky) and it's also worth noting that this is the second to last Schomburg BIG FAT Timely (as some of us call them) before they shrink down to the much narrower size (#33 being the last BIG FAT Schomburg). Great pick up!!!
