A rare book in any language, this is the La Prensa version of Dippy Duck #1, one of the last 2 comics to sport the Atlas logo on its cover before the implosion. -

I'm pretty sure I could assemble it with a 9.0 minimum, but it's the sheer volume of books (157 for the full CGC set) that I really wouldn't be looking forward to housing. That'd be somewhere in the 6 to 7 CGC boxes range for just that run!!!! Also, somewhere in the Bronze Age the run starts to reprint a lot of issues, so I don't know if I'll do it. Maybe. -

This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
Frisco Larson replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
An odd comic to be sure, BUT since he's got his own movie coming out and since this is his origin issue and second appearance, I wanted to add it to my oddity collection. This is the only graded copy. An interesting side note: The American issue is cover dated 11/71, while this copy is simply dated 1972, which means this book was published near the same time as the American counterpart, making it likely a first German pressing as I see it, not really a reprint. -

Probably better post this here if I want Billy @Straw-Man to see it, as I think this is his favorite and most frequented thread these days! -

Yes, that's right! That has been brought up before and shown to be correct by comparing several different issues. SO .... MUCH ..... FUN!!! -

Yup, in color and still with different house ads. Very much like a cousin from south of the border.
