Perhaps the group here will allow special inclusion to THIS page, as it's certainly pre-Robin ... it's just not from Detective Comics ... it's from Action Comics #12, which is cover dated the same month as Detective Comics #27. According to the Library of Congress (if that's accurate), the Action Comics #12 hit the stands 2 weeks before Detective Comics #27! Either way, the Action appearance is about as early as you can get. As much as I love Action #12, I really bought it for this panel!!!

Thanks Billy Boy! I wish I would've gotten that Larson Popular 47 that you once had. This one. It sold before I got to it, but I grabbed the scan for reference in case it popped up for sale again sometime in the future.

I haven't looked yet, but I will go take a look. If so, that blows to be the seller However, it could mean a "good deal" for any potential buyers. I hope someone here wins it!

Of course, I HAD to win this one too, as two Larsons in a row isn't all that easy to get and it IS a Marvel Man cover!

Also, this is a cover I've loved ever since I saw Jon Berk's Larson article in the CBM! In fact, I never thought I'd be fortunate enough to someday own the exact (Larson) copy featured in that issues color centerspread! Ya never know what may come your way in comics!
