  1. Cover dated 5/57 makes this Silver Age, riiiiight? Circle 8 copy.
  2. Strange Tales 131 party!!! I wound up buying 2 copies on the same day!!! The copy pictured above was first, then the below Bethlehem copy appeared before me at a good price, so BOOM, 2 copies in the same grade, with the same pq, on the same day! I MIGHT be a comic geek ...
  3. Nice copy Billy Boy!!! I love the colors on this 1st gen slabbed example! I can't IMAGINE how much more they would pop in the new holder!
  4. By the time November of 1940 rolled around, they had been using the Marvel Mystery 9-92 logo. The used it well after the Marvel Mystery run had changed to Marvel Tales. The second issue pictured is from 1951.
  5. Pre-Timely .... the same logo they used on Marvel Mystery 3-8 .... the "R" looks like it might tip over.
  6. #22 on the 22nd. Some weird glare near the spine, not on the book.
  7. Unbelievable collection!!! Where was this? SO awesome to see that these still exist!!!
  8. I forgot that I snapped a pic of a house ad in Spidey #2!!! How awesome is this???
  9. Ya just can't go wrong with these!!!! Pictured in the order in which they were available on the newsstands!
  10. And WHAT a book it is!!!! Tied with Spidey #4, both being "on sale" June 11th, it's either the 5th or 6th appearance EVER of our beloved Webhead!!!
  11. Also, since we're on Spidey #21 and it's a Torch issue .... AND we've been talking about annuals here lately, I present to you my copy of the first vintage annual I ever purchased (not this EXACT copy). I honestly couldn't believe how awesome it was and I read the snot outta that thing!!! The fact that I bought it VERY second hand and was in my mid 20s is irrelevant. It's no less awesome today! My copy is "slightly" different. So slightly that it didn't even merit a label notation!
