  1. Patriotic heroes to perhaps THE most patriotic hero!
  2. Often times, copies of seldom seen, very desirable books change hands privately and no record of the sale is made public. I know that I have some friends that tend to scoop up any exceptional books that I decide to part with, so that they never hit the market.
  3. @SilverAgeGuy & @namisgr you two are putting on quite an amazing display of killer books!!! Thank you!!!!
  4. WOW, I seldom see high grade pedigree PHM books .... and these are exceptional copies!!!! Thanks for sharing them!!!
  5. I know. Think about that Ben, the 5th Timely joined a week later by the 6th. Total company output: 6 books. Now THAT'S early! Of course the next month Daring Mystery took a break and Mystic Comics #1 hit the stands. Daring Mystery #2 won that poll in CBM as the rarist Timely many years ago and while current data makes that somewhat debatable, it STILL remains a very difficult book to find! I've only owned 1 copy in 35 years of collecting!!!
  6. Radioactive protection suits to REALLY protective suit!!!
  7. And how many total is that? I'm COMPLETELY unfamiliar with that area of Silver Age.
  8. Whoa, that's super cool!!!! What an awesome friend!!! Basket full of books!!! Well done!!!
  9. While both of those auction archives are very valuable and I check them for data as well, they aren't the entire market. Our own Mr. Bedrock has a copy in Universal 8.5 that I believe he acquired within the last 5 years or so, so other copies do circulate without their sale being recorded. It's a tough book above 6.0, no doubt, but I have seen enough lower grade copies to know that it IS available with regularity.
