Thanks for the info. I may be sending some books in that I would want in that new pedigree label, so I'll make a special note on the form. -

High grade Bronze Age certified 9.8 and higher!
Frisco Larson replied to Frisco Larson's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Since it seems that there is some debate over where the Bronze Age ends, some feel 12/79 others think somewhere in the mid 80s, I held off posting THIS copy here. However, since I see some other folks posting books thru 83, I figured this one belongs here too!!! Old label goodness and all Sorry the pic isn't the best. I'll try for a better one the next time I'm in that box and taking pics. -

SWEEEEEET!!!! A HUGE pile of raw Bronze Age Spidey books!!!! I could spend and entire WEEK going thru, reading them and pouring over the artwork!!!! A minimum of a half an hour per issue!!! Maybe 2 weeks of vacation would be needed for that!!! Pizza delivery person, remember my address!!!

Now there are an ENORMOUS amount of back cover ads featuring the coveted Daisy rifle, but I'll forgo any of those to feature what is so far my favorite gun related ad. This ad on the back cover of Captain America #33 features by far the most impressive "gun" that I can ever recall seeing offered in a comic ad: A tripod mounted MACHINE GUN!!!!! -

Of ALL of the examples (and there are MANY) that I could share of the old Charles Atlas program, THIS ad stands out as the most hurtful of the ones I've recently seen looking thru my books. -

Now I'm SURE you wouldn't be getting a Martin guitar & mandolin but the idea that you'd be getting BOTH a guitar & mandolin for selling some seeds .... I'd be involved with that somehow. -
